Hi all,
I have a Dell Precision M3800 which i have connected to two DGM IPS-2701WPH LCD Monitors (native 2560x1440 60Hz). The Dell provides two video output ports 1 x mini DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI.
Both monitors will display out the native resolution while being powered off the MiniDP port. However from the HDMI port the laptop will only display to 1920x1080 and nothing higher.
Using a Apple MacBook Pro the monitors work fine using HDMI at the full 2560x1440 resolution. so i know it isnt a problem with the monitor end.
Things i have tried,
- customapp mapping a resolution to 2560x1440 at 30Hz = black screen, and anything higher (refresh rate) - i get a dialog box stating - The custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity.
- updated to the latest Dell video driver
- manually installed the latest Intel Video Driver
None of these have resolved the issue. below is a copy of the Intel video report, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
