I just got an hp envy 15t with intel hd graphics, but it dosnt have any vram, is there a way to fix this?
No video ram on intel hd 4600 graphics
Latest drivers (3960) "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements..."
I'm unable to update to the latest drivers (Intel 4400 HD, Windows 8.1)
I've attempted to install them manually to no avail. I get the error "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
I'll part with the information that I'm running a Yoga 2 Pro on the condition that you don't give me the bullocks "use your manufacturer's driver" given that they're outdated and don't support proper display scaling.
HD4600 resolution problem with HP LA2405x monitor
So, this monitor is capable of 1920x1200, and indeed older Intel chipsets drive it just fine over VGA.
This chipset (inside a Dell E6540 laptop) will not recognize the resolution above 1920x1080.
Using the custom resolution app leads to a message "The custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity."
Running the system info utility shows me that the mode is supported by the monitor. But notice the order of resolutions. This looks like a bug in the intel mode detection, possibly shared between both utilities.
Is there a fix or workaround for this?:

HD 4600 Screen Flickers with Green Dots in Certain Apps
I just finished building my "dream pc" and I'm currently using the HD 4600 graphics from the i7-4790K until the new Nvidia product line launches. I noticed I am getting green dots flashing on certain textures in some games. So far I've only noticed it in Battlefield 4 and Sim City on certain textures. See screenshot below...
I have all current drivers of everything - UEFI, Windows, Graphics driver, etc.
System specs -
Intel i7-4790K
Asus Hero 7 MB
EVGA Supernova 1000w P2
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 2400
Samsung 840 Pro 512g
Windows 8.1 64
HDMI hooked up to AsusPB278
What I have tried -
Reinstalled graphics drivers, including the Beta for HD4600 as well as previous versions.
Changed every resolution, monitor setting, refresh rate, monitor cable, etc.
I'm not sure what is causing this - I'm hoping its just a driver fix or setting that I can change. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for the help...

Driver has stopped and successfully recovered when trying to use photoshop cc with windows 8.1
I am using photoshop CC and MOST of the time when i start the program my computer flashes that the intel display driver was stopped and successfully recovered. I can use photoshop but when i check the performance settings it is listing my intel intergrated card as the graphic card. This laptop is a brand new asus with a nvidia geforce 745m running windows 8.1. Sometimes it will start and the nvidia will work fine. As always,every manufacturer blames everyone else. Nvidia says its ASUS. ASUS says its not them blah blah. I have downloaded the latest drivers for nvidia. Downloaded intel drivers. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it will work. Asus computers arent able to turn off the intergrated card according to them. I have used the nvidia control center to tell photoshop to use the nvidia card but it doesnt help.
Critical: D3D11 - copying texture to texture may result in complete graphics system slow down
I am posting this question on behalf of hmelyoff because the original post was accidentally deleted. We're sorry that the original post was removed. Below is the text from the deleted post.
We found acriticalissuewith latest Intel HD (4600) driver build 15.36.7.64.3960 (latest), however Intel HD driver build 15.33.30.64.3958 (latest)works fineinsame situation.
issuealso present in 15.36.3.64.3907 (previous). I can not install 15.33.29.64.3945 (previous) - website shows that my systemsupportedbut release notes in driver shows that notsupportedand driver showserror.
AMD and Nvidia graphics have noissues.
In our application we have 2 textures, both with same type:
Width = 1920;
Height = 1088;
MipLevels = 1;
ArraySize = 1;
Format = DXGI_FORMAT_B8G8R8X8_UNORM;
SampleDesc = { Count=1, Quality = 0 };
Usage = D3D11_USAGE_DEFAULT;
BindFlags = D3D11_BIND_SHADER_RESOURCE | D3D11_BIND_RENDER_TARGET;
CPUAccessFlags = 0;
MiscFlags = D3D11_RESOURCE_MISC_SHARED;
pTex11 - opened from Direct3D9Ex with OpenSharedResource:
FAIL_RET( m_pEngine->m_pd3dDevice9->CreateTexture(lpAllocInfo->dwWidth, lpAllocInfo->dwHeight,
1,
D3DUSAGE_RENDERTARGET,
D3DFMT_X8R8G8B8,
D3DPOOL_DEFAULT,
&privateTexture9.p, &hShared) );
FAIL_RET( m_pEngine->m_pD3D11->OpenSharedResource(hShared, IID_ID3D11Texture2D, (void **) &pTex11) );
and pTex11Mipmap - exactly same type as pTex11 (it should be mipmap texture, but we made it same type in our test to isolate thisissue):
D3D11_TEXTURE2D_DESC desc11;
pTex11->GetDesc(&desc11);
//desc11.MipLevels = 0;
//desc11.BindFlags = D3D11_BIND_SHADER_RESOURCE | D3D11_BIND_RENDER_TARGET;
//desc11.MiscFlags = D3D11_RESOURCE_MISC_GENERATE_MIPS;
CComPtrpTex11Mipmap;
FAIL_RET( m_pEngine->m_pD3D11->CreateTexture2D(&desc11, NULL, &pTex11Mipmap) );
Then following call results in all graphics system slow down (including desktop, mouse and other applications):
pContext->CopySubresourceRegion(pTex11Mipmap, 0, 0, 0, 0, pTex11, 0, NULL);
pTex11Mipmap used as shaderresourceview for rendering. Commenting this line solves graphics system slow down.
Theissuecan be reproduced in XSplit Broadcaster in then following way:
1. Run XSplit Broadcaster on Intel HD 4600 (choose Integrated graphics profile if you run on Optimus laptop).
2. Just add Full HD capture card, or Full HD video to a scene (for example Wildlife from Win7 sample videos)
3. Right click on video source and turn onenhanceresize parameter in layout tab
This was tested (for example) on laptop with Win8.1 64-bit installed:
Intel HD 4600 + Nvidia GTX 870M (Optimus)
(Desktop systems shows same behavior)
XSplit Broadcaster 1.3
Whre can I download older version of HD4600 Windows 8.1 driver?
I need to download the 5/21/2014 release date version of the HD4600 IRIS driver (64-bit) for Windows 8.1, but am unable to find this driver version through the Intel driver support website.
Is there any FTP site where I can access legacy or depreciated versions of Intel's display drivers? This depreciated version is required because my Lenovo OEM laptop has known issue where the laptop won't properly come out of hibernation when using the current version of the HD Graphics 4600 driver, under Windows 8.1 64-bit. However, installing the 5/21/2014 version DOES work, so I need to install the depreciated version.
Any help is appreciated.
DVD Driver not detecting after updating Graphics Driver
So now that my Windows 7 has updated to Windows 8, my DVD driver stopped responding. It doesn't even detect anymore which is weird.
After my laptop decide to update on its own, the "Graphics Driver has stopped responding and recovered" message stopped showing up, but now my DVD driver busted. There's no yellow icon next to DVD/CD driver in Device Manager. The icon for DVD Driver D: is still showing up on My Computer, but no detection. It has never happened before until I decided to put in a DVD-Rom and nothing.
Distributing graphics profile/settings for external monitors
Hi all,
I work as an ICT support technician for a school with lots of staff laptops and and fixed VGA connected projectors.
Our issue is that the whiteboards for the projectors require a resolution of 1024 x 768 screen resolution to provide a full image to be viewable by the full class.
Currently staff have to set up their laptop to project in this way and can be confusing for new staff. We have over 100 staff laptops with it often being the case that users share the laptop due to their working arrangements.
Is there a way to distribute settings for such an occurrence? This would be settings specifically for external displays to display by default in 1024 x 768, would profiles help this? If so is it possible to deploy via a standard registry GPO?
Thanks in advance
Lawrence

Slight colorchange after few seconds
Hello, I have an Intel HD 4000 graphics driver and whenever I open, close or swap a window the colors of the entire screen slightly change after about 2.5 seconds.
This is not a major issue but it's really getting on my nerves lately.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Intel HD4000 running UHD (3840x2160) over HDMI
Yes, this actually is possible!
Tested and running under Win8.1, latest drivers and a Hisense 55K680UAD UHD TV.
The trick is to keep the pixel clock to less than the 225Mhz HDMI maximum for this hardware.
Using CustomModeApp.exe (part of the Intel driver software) select the display and then go to advanced.
Use the following settings:
Setting | Horizontal | Vertical |
---|---|---|
Front Porch | 48 | 3 |
Back Porch | 80 | 23 |
Sync Width | 32 | 5 |
Active | 3840 | 2160 |
Scan Rate | 25 |
Save.
This creates a dot clock of 221Mhz and relies on the display supporting 24Hz which is a scan rate used by blue-ray film.
Then using the Intel Display Panel (it will need to be re-opened to get the new setting), Select the new mode.
A reboot may be required for this resolution to be visible in the Windows Screen Resolution panel.
Garbage in screen after windows 7 login with HD 3000
Hello all
I recently got a HP elitebook 8460p. It has Intel HD 3000 graphics (I5-2520M processor). I updated bios to last version (F.42) and I´m using Windows 7 x64 with latest intel hd drivers (9.17.10.3347).
The problem is that after the login screen in windows 7 a lot of garbage appears in screen, like the resolution isn´t fine, if i change to another resolution the problem dissapear, and if i return to the original resolution also works. Doesn´t usually do twice after you change the resolution.
I recorded a video of the problem:
Hp 8460p graphics problem - YouTube
Can be a hardware problem? In linux never experienced this problem, so i don´t know what to do. I tried to rollback bios, but doen´t solve the problem. The hardware check in UEFI by HP seems to be fine.
Sorry for my bad english, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Does Intel HD 2500 support WQHD (2560X1440) resolution?
Hi I have a HP Ultraslim 8300 PC that has 2 displayport and 1 D-Sub. I am currently using dual monitors (2 FHD), and now thinking about getting a WQHD monitor.
Does HD 2500 support WQHD resolution? I was only able to confirm that it can allow me to use triple monitors (2 FHD setup), but not sure it supprots QHD resolution.
I'd like to use a 1 QHD monitor and 2 FHD monitors eventually. Thanks in advance.
having trouble of updating the latest Intel graphics driver on laptop.
I am having trouble of updating the latest Intel® HD Graphics 4000. I did try this web Intel Driver Update Utility and clicked check your system for updates also downloaded the latest version 15.33.30.64.3958. My current version is 10.18.10.3621. however, everytime i try to update, i got an error pop up. it says "The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit".
Here's my dxdiag report. i think it would also help to solve the problem.
So does anyone know solution to this error? Thanks!!
Movie Maker 12
Hello, my name is Cătălin..
I've just installed Windows Essentials 2012 ( full, with all its programs ) and movie maker refuses to start.
It's that problem with the graphic card / system requirements not met.
But i have had windows essentials 2012 installed before, but i have just re-installed my windows 1 month ago.
It's a Samsung laptop. Samsung 300E5Z-A03 to be more specific.
Here are some info about it, which i have read on google it's important or w.e.
I just don't get it, why it worked for about 7-8 months until i re-installed my windows, and now it's not working.
I specify that i have installed the same windows.
