Can't open Control Panel in any way
Hello,
I have a MacBook Pro retina with Intel i7 4770HQ on board, and Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200, Windows 10 BootCamp.
After the drivers update to lastest version I don't see any Control Panel on my computer. Desktop right-click doesn't have an option to open Control Panel, Graphics adapter properties window doesn't have an additional intel tab there.
Also, when I try to open GfxUIEx.exe or any of the Gfxv?_0.exe manually literally nothing happens.
I've already tried uninstalling the driver and installing it again, but that didn't help as well.
Surface Pro 4 can't display 2560x1080 on LG 34UM58
I can't display higher than 1920x1080 on Surface Pro 4 i5-6300u. I am trying to display 2560x1080 which I can on my Surface Pro 3 i7-4650U. I am using the same Microsoft mini DP and cable for both tests. I have installed the most recent driver for the 520 adapter from Intel Hardware information is below.

Unable to fit HDMI output to entire TV screen
Hello,
I have a GIGABYTE mini pc GB-BXBT-2807 with integrated intel HD graphics.
The problem I having is that the HDMI output doesn't scale to the entire TV screen correctly. Using the resize options on the Panasonic TV remote doesn't expand the picture without it being oversized.
I have tried various Intel drivers, non of which have the overscan option. I have also used the Intel Update utility to install the latest drivers.
This is really frustrating as whole purpose of purchasing the mini pc was to use as a media box for my TV.
I have also used the Intel Graphics identification tool, which advises the graphics card is in fact an Intel Graphics HD 4600 GPU . I haven't been able to install the Intel 4600 drivers manually as i receive warning the drivers are not compatible. Running Windows x64 8.1 pro.
I have tried contacting the manufacturer of the PC but they referred me to Intel.

At the moment I have disable the display adapter on the device manager and that´s the only way I get to stop the flickering...
Can anyone give me any sugestions please? Thanks in advance.

The HDMI video output to my LG TV has suddenly stopped working
I hope someone here can help me! The HDMI video output has suddenly stopped working. I've tried all the tricks and tips I could find on the forums (uninstall display adapter - Intel 4000 then reboot my computer; update all drivers etc). My computer still has the ability to duplicate screens, so that means that its recognising that there's a cable plugged in, and the sound is still working via HDMI.
I'm really frustrated and at a loss as to what else to try!!!
I'm using an Acer Aspire laptop V5-571.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Issues installing Intel graphics drivers for Windows 8.1 64Bit in Kaby Lakelaptops
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a new laptop the DELL Inspirion 15.6 Intel i5 - 8gb memory - NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti - 256gb SSD . I was able to load windows 8.1 fine and was able to get the usb's and some drivers working. However when I try to install the NVIDIA Geforce drivers I get an error stating that I need to install the intel graphics drivers first. I tried doing that and since it is a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300HQ mobile processor, Intel drivers wont allow me to install them even through the device manager.
I have tried these steps:
https://communities.intel.com/thread/108407
But it didnt work. Maybe I am missing something or doing something wrong. Can anyone please help? I hate to have to return the laptop because I cannot use/stand windows 10 and its practices. I listed some specs on the bottom again.

INTEL HD 4000 Drivers for Windows 7/8/10?
Hello, I'm an Intel HD 4000(I7 3770K) user and i'm wondering when there would be a release for the product. It has been some time since this got a driver and I've also discussed it with the authorities and they said i would be updated with the information. And, i just came to know that the 4th Gen windows 7 support has reached an EOL recently and i'm wondering the same would be the case with 3rd Gen too?If so would there be a last driver for the 3rd Gen as it was there for the 4th gen?
I would appreciate if anybody shed some light on this.
Thanks,
Hary
Add Vesa 1366x768 to GM45 on Dell Inspiron 1545 for CML/DOS ?
Hi Guys,
This is my first post, just joined today, looks interesting with a nice bunch of contributors.
I'm a keen user of an older DOS based CAD program (Protel) for electronic design
as I already have libraries, can update them, very fast, produces good output &
work fine under 32 bit XP on a reliable laptop which can dual boot to Win7 64 bit dual boot.
Laptop's native resolution 1366x768 is fine for windows but, there's no 1366x768 Vesa mode
for DOS based programs so the 1366x768 graphic driver which I can get for "Protel for DOS"
does not function, it only goes to 1024x768 with the aspect ratio out so circles appear as ovals.
The lfb.exe cml/dos program on this link shows all the modes (incl Vesa) the GM45 on my Dell has
in DOS mode:- Protel Autotrax video drivers link can be found in string "the lfb tool inside DOSBox"
I don't need to run DOSBox as slow/messy & Xp-32bit will open a cml window with appropriate .pif and
there are corruption issues/delays using the Windows XP driver thats offered on the Airborn website.
ie. To run the vesa report program; d/l the .exe, virus check then open a cml/dos window & type lfb
or optionally pipe the output to a txt file as lfb > mine.txt
Then type exit to leave the cml closed
On my system the Vesa mode are as listed below but, doesn't show the laptop's
native 1366x768 at all, here it is:-

The Vesa mode I need is 183h for 1366x768.
I wondering if its possible to patch the relevant .inf in the graphic drivers for the
GM45 such that 183h appears with the correct attributes.
Is it possible there is a utility from intel or a spec which details the areas in
the .INF file or even a binary patch for any of the associated .DLL's so when
the cml (command line) switches in then mode 183h for 1366x768 matches
the Protel intrinsic driver ?
Looking forward to some ideas, regards
Mike Massen
Edit: I've just found this utility which may be useful as it can interrogate the
native lcd "monitor" in the laptop & might this data then be useful to patch
any of the .inf for the GM45 driver ?
igfxem module denies access to my folders
Attached is the status of the drivers for my Intel HD Graphic 530, all up to date using Intel Driver Update Utility 2.6. Plus, a Speccy text of my laptop.
So this started happening recently, even after reinstalling Windows 10.
I am logged in as the administrator, and I couldn't even delete it even when logged into elevated administrator account. Tried Command Prompt "takeown" and changed owner ship of the folder to no avail.
Guess what, igfxEM is handling this folder. To be clear, this is a folder for a Steam game installed outside of C:\ to evade UAC while playing. Yet, igfxEM is somehow handling almost ALL of the folders in this D:\ drive.
And when I ended the process tree...
The folder just DISAPPEARED, and then I could rename, copy, move, any folders in the D:\ drive (not all folders in D:\ are handled by the module, but a vast majority is).
My questions are:
-How can I fix this? This hadn't happened before during the entire year I own this laptop, until I used CCleaner to "clean" my registry. REGRET.
-And is it important? Can I just remove it?
Thanks for reading and appreciate any help.
Customized resolution for my Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q monitor
I have asked this before but the problem is still there, the latest drivers (4624) don`t support customized resolution for my Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q monitor. I Think the 4424 was the latest that worked, I now I must first install 4424 and make the customized resolution and then install the latest driver
Intel HD 620 Graphics Windows10 64 Bits
Hi,
IntensePC3 (using Intel Core i7-7500U) has an issue on End customer application.
Remotely I can connect and see the Creator's update has been installed (1703).
Any Intel driver is generating really strange effects on the screen: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5Dy-Hxkgj7ebXcySUplM2l3dFE
The only way to have this gone is to roll back to Microsoft driver (10.0.15063.0) but then only 1 Display is detected.
Any idea? I will try to get the customer to reinstall his OS on Win 10 64 bits without Creator's update to see if it comes from this but he is in remote location which isn't facilitating the problem.
For any solution, please let me know.
Thanks.
Max.
Sprite transparency is gone with HD 520 HD 620
Hi,
I recently got 2 new computers with HD 520 and HD620 graphics. When I try to run my game under Windows 10, I am seeing back color behind sprites that are supposed to have transparent background (see the attached screenshot below).
I have already updated the driver to the latest version (win64_154518.4664) and the problem persists. Could you kindly help to advise how to resolve this issue? Thank you.
Saturation setting issues
Hello.
So I've come across this problem like 2 months ago, only now got around to actually reporting it and seeking help.
The problem is that the saturation setting in my intel HD graphics panel keeps resetting, to -25 from whatever I set it to, every time I :
1. Restart my pc.
2. Change a profile, or a resolution.
3. Launch a full screen program that isn't my native resolution (1920x1080p)
4. Tab into a full screen program.
Now I have tried :
1. Rolling back to old drivers, which didn't have this issue.
2. Updating to the latest drivers.
3. Reinstalling the drivers completely.
And nothing has worked.
The drivers that I installed were the ones from the intel website, since there are no graphics drivers on the ASUS support website.
Now as for my PC.
Model : ASUS N551VW
Processor : Intel i7-6700HQ 2.60 GHz
Graphics card : Nvidia Geforce GTX960M
The PC also has integrated intel graphics, as it is a lap top.
Both Nvidia control panel and Intel HD Graphics control panel are installed, however in Nvidia I am not able to adjust neither the resolution or the saturation, brightness etc.
Windows 10 Pro
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Intel HD4000 Driver problem
I use HP 8300 i7-3770 8G with windows 7_64, Virutal Machine + Genymotion are used to play the android games on the PC.
If I install the lastest version 4425 HD4000 driver from Hp or Intel, the screen graphic is flashed and cannot show the true picture when I play a game called "Little Empire" and jump to "training page" from main page.
If I install old verison 2639 HD4000 driver from "Intel_GFX_Win7_64_8.15.10.2639_PV.exe", the screen graphic at the training page is ok without any problems, but the andrioid simulator on virutal machine will hang after running for 10-30 minutes.
What is the difference between HD4000 driver 2639 version and 4425 version ? How to solve ? Please advice !
Celeron J3160 HEVC decoding
Does the Celeron J3160 (Intel HD graphics 400) support HEVC decoding? I've searched high and low for a definitive answer to this question but I can't seem to find it!
Use DVI out on an HDMI port (similarly to xrandr --set force-dvi on Linux)
On Linux, running
xrandr --output HDMI1 --set audio force-dvi
solves many issues on my eternal monitor. It fixes overscan, as well as increasing brightness to a reasonable level and significantly increases display clarity. The external monitor I am using has absolutely no configuration options, so that isn't an option. Is there a way to achieve similar results to the command above using the Intel Graphics Driver on Windows?
