I think I solve the problem that Intel HD graphics can't output HDMI or DVI signal

My new computer

CPU i5 2500 k

MB Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3

Monitor ASUS MS246H

OS Windows 7 x64

Days before, I also have the same problem that so many guys have.
I can't get the output from 2500K via the HDMI port and DVI port after install the driver,
It's fine while using the DVI or HDMI port. But when I install the driver and reboot, there is no display after the screen "Windows Starting".I go into the safe mode uninstall the driver to using the system driver, everything just go fine after reboot. And when I using the VGA port from the MB,there is no problem after install driver.I try many kinds of drivers, the HDMI and DVI port also have no display.

Now I solve the problem using the method as below:
1.prepare a vga-vga line, and connect it from MB vga port to monitor vga port
2.connect a hdmi or dvi line from mb to monitor
3.select the monitor output mode to VGA
4.power on the PC and login the system (Now it's using the vga,so there is no problem)
5.install or reinstall the driver and DO NOT restart after the job is over.
6.press WIN+P and select the duplicate mode (the second one) and press enter to confirm.
7.right click on your desktop and select "screen resolution" ,that you will see your monitor is seperated into two parts (1|2)
8.then change your monitor output mode to HDMI or DVI,Is it working now?
9.remove the vga line, and the output form hdmi or dvi is good

10.reboot the PC and everything is OK

Hope this method is useful to you, thanks.

ASUS UX31A / Intel HD4000 HDMI issue

Hey guys,

I've recently upgraded to Windows 8 on my Zenbook Prime UX31A and micro HDMI port is not working at all. Basically, when I plugin microhdmi to HDMI cable to the port nothing happens. Neither laptop or TV detect a new screen. I've been reading online that this might be an issue with the driver.

I've tried multiple drivers from both ASUS and Intel's website and it's still a no go. Current drivers that I'm using on it are:

Can you please help?

eye strain

hello,

I have a Notebook with Intel Core i7 4710 - Intel Graphics 4600 and external Nvidia Gforce GTX 850M for about 2 weeks now. I connect the Notebook on two different places per HDMI with nearly three year old lg monitors. With my old Notebook (Intel Core2Duo and Nvidia Gforce 9500GT) I had not any problems with this two monitors. However when I connect one of the two monitors with my new Notebook I get eye strain and headache. Of course I use the right resolution FullHD and tried out different brigthness and contrast adjustments in intel graphic properties. OS is Windows 7 Prof x64  and the newest drivers are installed. Version:15.33.22.64.3621
Nearly two months ago I purchased an other Notebook with Intel Core i7 4700MQ - Intel Graphics 4600 and Nvidia Gforce GT755 M. I had the same problem there and so I sent it back, because I thought that the Notebook has an defect. I tried out Windows 7 and Windows 8 and had the same eye problems in the two different OS.
Now I do not really know what the problem exactly is, because I have these problems with two different Notebooks on two different external LG Monitors and the integrated Displays of the Notebooks. But I thinkt the problem is the Intel HD 4600. Maybe that there is something wrong with the driver.
Do you have any ideas about this? Couse  I can't purchase and send back new Notebooks all the time.

Sorry for my bad english

What is Windows Update trying to offer me for my Intel HD Graphics 4600 adapter?

I have a PC running 64 bit Windows 7 SP1.  The PC has a GIGABYTE motherboard with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 adapter.  For some months now, Microsoft Windows Update has been offering me an optional update with the title:

“Intel Corporation – Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Intel® HD Graphics 4600”

However, my PC already has the latest driver that is available from the GIGABYTE Web site.  Does anyone know what Windows Update is trying to offer me?

Display driver stopped responding and has "successfully" recovered

My Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 keeps having problems, if I do anything that puts strain on it (ie gaming or even a screensaver) it stops working, my screen goes black for a few seconds, and I have these pixel-like dots around my screen as well as displaying Display driver stopped responding and has "successfully" recovered, I realized my NIVIDA GeForce GT 640M was not set as the global driver for my games, I set it as such and had no problems for awhile, recently though a game slipped past these settings (for reasons unknown) and the problems started up again. It does not matter if I restart as long as I have the Intel driver activated I have these problems, if I disable it however these problems stop. I have tried updating all my drivers and my .NET Framework and it does not help. It usually last from anywhere to the one time to a week, I can not tell why it stops other then leaving my computer off for days but I need a more permanent fix, I am afraid it might be hardware related but I want to exhaust all my options before taking it in to have it opened up.

How to manually set video output range to full (0 to 255 color space) like we do in Nvidia Cards

I saw in the intel control panel there is something called input rage (limited or full) is that the setting i should use ... I thout there would be a setting to make output to 0 to 255 for video playback. In my machine with nvidia card its so easy to toggle to 0 to 255  in Nvidia control Panel.

My machine : HP Probook 450 G1

Card : Intel HD graphics 4600.

Older versions still work, but now the later alert that system does not meet minimum requirements. Using intel autodetect driver or manually finding it produces same result. PC is Aspire R7-571G, Windows 7 64.

Queries following the installation of the latest driver for an Intel HD Graphics 4600 adapter

I have a PC running 64 bit Windows 7 SP1.  The PC has a GIGABYTE motherboard with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 adapter.  To avoid any potential incompatibility problems, I always download the driver for the graphics adapter from the GIGABYTE Web site, not from Intel or Microsoft.

When I first purchased the PC, I installed driver 15.31.11.64.3186 (GIGABYTE identifier).  A few days ago, I installed the latest driver available on the GIGABYTE Web site, 15.33.19.64.3540.  I have the following queries:

  • I was surprised to discover that the new driver contains an Intel HD Graphics Control Panel.  Is this a piece of function that has been introduced since the 3186 driver, or was it present with the 3186 driver and I didn’t know about it?
  • The installation has placed a shortcut to the control panel on the Windows desktop, but I don’t like shortcuts to “low level” function on my desktop.  Can I just delete the shortcut?  I can always access the control panel by right clicking the desktop and selecting “Graphics Properties…”.
  • When I click the Intel HD Graphics icon in the Windows system tray, I see 4 items: “Graphics Properties…”, “Graphics Options”, “Exit tray”, and “Intel HD Graphics Control Panel”.  When I click the last item, nothing happens – the control panel is not displayed.  Is this a defect?  Can it be corrected manually by any means?  If it can’t be corrected, I’m inclined to remove the Intel HD Graphics icon from the system tray completely.  All the function appears to be available by right clicking the Windows desktop anyway.

My AV receiver is a DENON AVR-1612 and is DTS-HD & True-HD capable, connected via HDMI. However Windows Audio only shows DD, DTS and DD+.

I have installed lastest intel graphics and sound driver from the intel website (15.33.22.64.3621  英特尔® 下载中心)

I have installed GT430 and connect my av receiver via HDMI, it supports DTS-HD well. But when i use Intel Graphics, only support DD, DTS and DD+.

Please urgent help about flashing a graphic card with possible malware infection.

My graphic card is 946gz and some time ago it lost several funcionalities(e.g. changing resolution on loading linux live cd-s) and also the pc itself  boots  windws xp with a strange delay with a blinking underscore showing up for more than a minute or even more. After several reinstalls of op.system I am sure that annoying losing of internet connection and desktop unresponsiveness are coused by some malware installed on pc hardware firmware or peripheral hardware firmware. At this point I just think to throw away all my pc equipment including monitor, printer usb sticks, wireless adaptor and start again from scratch but I would try to flash the graph.card bios(not system bios!-already done) before all that happens.I downloaded the necessary files from intel downl.site but now after I run the exe. file from dos cd (not windows command prompt)it doesn't give me the possibility to add the configuration file and the vbios data file to the installation process. So does somebody know what I have to type after I type the name of he executable file? Thanks!

HD4600 clone cursor in top left corner when activating quicksync

I'm trying to use quicksync with obs (open broadcast software). But whenever i go to screen settings (through right click on the desktop) and detect monitors, select monitor on hd4600, select try to connect to vga anyway & lastly, extend desktop. I get a secondary cursor in the top left corner which doesn't move, but changes state with the main cursor.

The main gfx is a gtx770 & hd4600 is only for quicksync.

I've tried almost every solution i've been able to find.

One suggest installing an older driver version, another reinstalling nvidia drivers.

I've tried earlier release, latest release & beta release & after installing and rebooting the nvidia driver would fail and recover. I'd then clean reinstall the nvidia drivers as suggested by one. But it does not help. Every time i change from "show on desktop 1" to "extend desktop" i'll get the clone cursor, but only in extended mode, which is needed for quicksync to work, so it's not an option not to use extended desktop.

I've noticed there's quite a few with this problem on the obs forum, this forum and other forums as well.

Any suggestions ?

Intel HD Graphics 4000 and The Sims 2

Hi!

I have a problem with the game The Sims 2. When I had Windows 8, the game worked fine, but I updated to Windows 8.1 and I had to update the Intel HD Graphics 4000 drivers too because the game didn't work anymore. And now there's a black rectangle under the sims feet:

http://thumbs2.modthesims2.com/img/6/7/8/3/5/1/3/MTS_00harris00-1390662-Screenshot.jpg

That black rectangle is supposed to be the shadow. If I set it to "medium", the rectangle goes away, but there's no shadow either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Windows 8.1 Intel HD 4400 T440 BSOD (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys))

I have a lenovo T440 with windows 8.1, it crashes once or twice per day with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys). I am guessing that this is the intel HD 4400 graphics drivers?

I have updated to the latest driver version 2014-05-17 (10.18.10.3621) newer than lenovos driver, but the machine still crashes.

This is using normal office applications, no gaming or any display heavy applications.

I do use 2 external monitors and the built-in screen, but it crashes with 2 screens and the built-in monitor disabled also.

DxDiag attached, I have disabled the auto updates of drivers, but I do not think this is why my machine crashes, any suggestions or fixes??

Added a eventlog showing how often it crashes.

Halo 2 Texture Flickering on Intel HD 4000 Graphics with Latest Graphics Drivers

I bought this game several months ago. Its one of my favorite games, however, these texture flickerings ruined my experience quite a bit. I know this is a problem with the drivers and was wondering if there is a fix for it. I'd like to replay this game once this problem is solved. I'm also aware that this was fixed in previous drivers, but if I install those, I cant play some of my newer games. I've included a video of the texture flickering. It's very bad at the main menu and still pretty bad during the rest of the game.

HD 4600 in i7-4770K with 2 monitors hangs coming out of sleep

I am having an annoying problem with the 4600 GPU that when the computer is brought out of sleep the screens are frozen for about 5 to 10 seconds and then a message appears that the 4600 driver has stopped working and has been restarted. The system runs pretty well until it goes to sleep again.

Another problem is the scaling does not, as MS says it should (Windows 81.), show the icons and text as the same size on each monitor regardless of its resolution.  This with "Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays" NOT checked.

My configuration (5 monitors total with 3 different resolutions)

ALL drivers, Intel, ASUS, NVIDA are current (triple checked)

ALL MS updates are installed.

ASUS Sabertooth Z87 with i7-4770K (HD 4600 inside) with:

Windows 8.1 64 bit

One monitor 1440 X 2560 (main) on Display Port

One monitor 1080 X 1920 on HDMI

NOTE:  SiSoft Sandra shows three HD Graphic adapter (for the three possible monitors I presume)

One shows 1.4 GB and other two show 32 MByte I don't know which one is assigned to the DP

NVIDA GeForce GT 430 (1st position slot)

one 1080 X 1920 monitor on DVI

one  2048 X 1152 monitor on HDMI (converter cable to DVI)

NVIDA GeForce GT 430 (2nd position slot)

one 2048 X 1152 monitor on DVI

This hanging problem grew worse when I put the 1140 X 2560 monitor to replace a 1080 X 1920 one.

Any help with making these problem go away?  I see a number of complaints on the internet about the 4600 hanging and some are with ASUS and some with NVIDA.
