Latest Driver

Hello, so when I tried playing some games after installing the newest Driver, my FPS were horrendous, in Counter Strike:GO, I'd get 100 FPS with my 2013 Driver (Modded by the Acer company, PC was already built) and with the 2015 Driver I'd get 30-40 FPS.

I want to see how the middle ground Driver works (2014) but instead of containing the ighdl64, it contains a kit64ics, is that the file I want to use to update my Driver?

Secondary question:

So I get this window:

jRYpC5H.png

As you can see there's the 2013 and 2015 Drivers, do I have to highlight one while installing the 2014 one or have nothing highlighted?

Reinstall or repair Intel HD graphics driver

$

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Z710 running Windows 7 Ultimate. Windows was on my request installed by the vendor, bought end-July 2014.

A month later a vertical blue line appeared on the screen immediately at start and before Windows starts up. When Windows runs, the line can be seen only against a black or very dark background (and then is a little thinner).

I have reason to believe that the Intel graphic driver may be damaged in the software and would like to perform a repair install or reinstall the driver.

Today I attempted to use Graphics Drivers — How to Identify Your Intel® Graphics Controller to get more data on the installation.

It did not work, stopped with some failure indignation.

After that the laptop does not start in normal mode any more!!!! It hangs with a black window when Windows is about to start.

But is does start in safe mode.

Can I in the safe mode do a reinstall or repair of the software?

Maybe I have a driver version DRIVER VERSION: 15.33.22.3621 ???

I tried to use the Novo button start in the laptop, but that did not help.

LATER:

This is strange! While writing this in my desktop, I left the laptop standing at the hangup with the black window. After MANY MINUTES Windows suddenly did start!!!

Apparently the system has somehow repaired itself after a long time... I can anew boot into Windows normal mode!

I now hesitate to try to identify the controller again... or I might have this problem anew...

Yet I do want to try to repair or reinstall the driver in the hope of getting rid of that disturbing blue line,

and appreciate your help.

HD 4400 blurry text/jagged - help!!

Hi,

I made the mistake of buying 4 NUCs.

NUC D54250WYK and the i3 Version.

I have 2 different types of monitors and the same problem on each. Blurry jagged text. The below photo is a good example of this (from web)

Monitor is a VX279 27" (the newest).

I have tried:

- installed the latest graphics drivers

- switched 'smooth' font on and off via control panel/setting

-tried different displayport and HDMI cables (Startech & C2G 1.4)

-tried custom resolution of 1920 x 1080 - no help.

- tried Graphics Drivers — Text Characters are Blurry

the HDMI cable connection detects the monitor as a 'Digital Television VX279'. The Displayport detect monitor as 'Digital Display VX279'.

- I have read tons of stuff on this forum to do with overscan being on. I have tried sliding them to 0, but doesn't help. Although given the screen gets so small it's hard to tell.

I don't have this issue when connecting both monitors to AMD/Nvidia graphic card (Nvidia GTX 970 & ATi 8510G)

Someone help please, save my eye sight!!

thank you.

Can someone provide me with the correct driver

I have had an issue with my Excel 2013 crashing on a daily basis.  I have posted numerous times on the Microsoft forum with no luck correcting this issue.  I wanted to see if perhaps my drivers needed to be updated and Toshiba suggested I contact Intel directly incase Toshiba did not have the latest drivers.  I have windows 8.1 and my current driver is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0166&SUBSYS_FB001179&REV_09.  My laptop is a Toshiba P855-S5102, with 64 bit.  When I went to Intels drivers download page I think the driver suggested gave me an error so I wanted to make sure I was trying to download the correct one.  Here is the error and if someone can tell e which one to download I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Displayport not working with LG 7.9" LP079QX1-SP0V

I wonder why intel HD graphic with display port option is not recognizing 1536 X 2048(vertical) resolution.  The system is equipped with intel celeron N2930@1.83GHz. Is there any reason for this? What would be a solution for this. I have LG LP079QX1-SP0V Monitor and can't have the monitor working with intel HD graphic.  For your reference, Nevidia GTX 760 is working fine with this monitor. Is this the driver problem? Please help me with a solution.

Hi, I have been having this same problem of my laptop freezing and then after about 3 minutes returning with a message "display driver intel graphics accelerator drivers for windows 7 stopped responding and has successfully recovered". I've tried updating the drivers/rolling them back, but the problem persists. Could it be a hardware problem? I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad z570 on windows 7 64 bit.

Intel's graphics driver is calling Sleep when vsync is enabled

On OpenGL-Based applications, Intel's driver use Sleep!

I guess the driver is doing that to decrease CPU usage.

This is a serious problem that causes fps drop. How can I avoid this problem?

Is disabling vsync the only way to avoid this problem?

From callstack, I could see that Intel's driver is calling Sleep in the SwapBuffers() call.

However when I launch the app with fullscreen mode, the problem goes away.

>kernel32.dll!SleepStub()
ig75icd64.dll!00007ffe145e849d()
ig75icd64.dll!00007ffe145d8ed0()

Updating the graphics driver to 15.36.7.64.3960 didn't solve the problem.

Desperate need of help with Laptop Display

$

Hi all.

For months now I've been trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my Laptop Display. As you do, I've searched/looked for so many different solutions but nothing is working.

The Problem

I have four thick black bars going around my screen, they must be at least an inch thick all around. I can't get rid of them/stretch the screen to go into them.

Laptop

  • Acer Aspire V 15 Touch
  • Intel Core i5-421OU 1.7GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz
  • 8GB DDR3 L Memory
  • Intel HD Graphics / NVIDIA GeForce 840m

Things I've Tried

  • Trying to change the screen resolution in the control panel/display settings. The maximum it will go to is 1366x768
  • Going into the Intel Graphics Control Panel and trying out a number of different settings
  • Going into the NVIDIA Control Panel, I have 0 options on their to change display. Looks like I don't get the full range of settings compared to others.
  • Uprading Display Drivers

The only thing I can think of that might have caused the problem was switching from Windows 8 to 7, when I was running 8 their was no problem.

If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it, it's driving me crazy!

How much "Dedicated Video Memory" prior to purchase?

Ok...after searching on Dell.com and Intel.com, I have been unable to find the "Dedicated Video Memory" specs for Intel i7-4510U Dual Core Processor or any other processor!

I just would like to know if it is at least 512 mb of Dedicated Video Memory to use the 3D features of Adobe's Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop CC 2014 and Illustrators CC 2014), this would be very helpful.

Thanx,

HD Graphics 4600 HDMI 5.1 Sound Output to TV.

So I have a home theater setup basically I am trying to pass 5.1 surround sound from my pc to my receiver.

My setup is:

[PC]===HDMI=== [TV] ===OPTICAL===[RECEIVER] === [Speakers]

PC info:

Asus n550jv

Windows 8.1 64-bit

Intel Core i7-4700HQ

8GB RAM

Intel HD Graphics 4600

NVIDIA GeForce 750M

TV info: Vizio E420i-b0 Smart TV

Receiver info: Sony STR-K750P

The problem I am having is my PC will only recognize the HDMI connection with stereo sound.[pic]

My first thought was that the tv could only accept signal in 2 channels.

I did some research on my specific model and discovered that it DOES indeed support full surround HDMI pass-through. I confirmed this by talking to a vizio customer support rep who tried to help me with my problem. She said that it was a problem with my display driver(Intel Display Audio), leading me here.

How do I get my pc to recognize my sound system?

N5110 no audio through HDMI

$

0

I can get video output through my HDMI port on my N5110 but not audio.  A very thorough online search discovered that others have had this problem, but I saw no real solution for my situation.  Some have suggested going to Hardware and Sound > Playback and selecting an entry that says Digital Audio (HDMI).  That’s quite reasonable but unfortunately such an entry does not appear. I right-clicked in that tab and both “Show Disabled Devices” and “Show Disconnected Devices” are checked.

I have a Dell 15R N5110 with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 display adapter integrated in the i3-2350 CPU chip.  Under “Sound, video and game controllers” it shows IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and Intel Display Audio.  I updated the driver for the display adapter from the Intel website to the latest one available (Version 9.17.10.4101, 1/30/2015).  I used Windows 7 to search for driver updates for the other two devices and got the message that the drivers were up to date.  The problem remains.

According to the Intel site, the version of the driver for the display adapter works with Windows 8, but I assume it is backward compatible with Windows 7.  Nevertheless, I went ahead and installed an older version of the driver (8.15.10.2361) from the Dell website.  Intel says this version number is for Windows 7 drivers. This didn’t change anything that I already noted above.

An Intel webpage about this problem, “No Audio Through My HDMI Cable,” (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-030039.htm?wapkw=intel+display+audio+windows+7), that says it applies to “2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 3000/2000” displays a screen shot of the Playback tab of the Sound control panel that includes entries for Digital Audio (HDMI).  The fact that such entries do not appear in my computer makes me wonder whether there is something unique to Dell’s N5110 (and perhaps other models) that will not permit audio through HDMI.

Before posting this, I tried an online chat with an Intel graphics rep.  No luck there.  He just reminded me that computer makers design their products with their own features, settings, and capabilities, and that I should contact Dell.  I’m out of warranty, and it would cost me to talk with a Dell support person.  I’d do it, but I’ve not had very good luck with them before, so I don’t want to waste my money.

I eagerly await any thoughts or suggestions you might have about any of this.

Intel HD 4600 (10.18.14.4080) Win 8.1 x64 Outlook 2013 x86 White Screen

Hello,

We have strange issue with Outlook 2013 x86 on Windows 8.1 x64.  Parts of the Outlook 2013 Interface will not render,  instead white zones or black zones appear on the screen.  keyboard shortcuts work, but closing and re-opening Outlook is the only way to get rid of the problem.  I have attached a sample screen capture Blue blocks cover confidential data.

A similar post has been made here : Intel HD 4600 and Outlook 2013 - white screen

But no clear solution has been posted.

We have seen the issue with the following driver versions :  10.18.10.341210.18.10.3960 and the new 10.18.14.4080  version.

We have updated the BIOS of Lenovo M93p to the lastest firmware which include the Intel VBIOS 1030.

Read me notes for 15.36.7.64.3960 had in Key issues fixed the following note :  Fixed an issue where display screen was corrupted while Using Microsoft Outlook* application for more than an hour while other applications are running in the background.  Are you 100% sure this issue has been fixed ?.  We are using all Office 2013 products with video acceleration disabled as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2768648

We have also tried a few variations in the our BIOS settings,  change the default  Pre-Allocated Memory Size from 32M to 512M,  Nothing has helped.

Intel is this still any issue ? and when can we get a fix ?

Forced 1080i in some DX11 games is causing screen flicker.

$

0

Hey Folks,

When loading DX11 games in full-screen at 1920x1080, the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel sometimes forcefully changes the video output to 60i Hz from 60p Hz. As a result, it causes horrible screen flicker. Changing the game to run in windowed mode returns it to 60p Hz and removes the flicker, as does changing the resolution from 1920x1080 to something else. This is only noticeable on the SECOND screen, which is a plug 'n play standard 1080p monitor.

PC Specification:

Graphics: GTX 880m (running driver 337.50 beta - no alternative version available yet) & Intel HD 4600 integrated (running latest drivers).

CPU: Intel i7 4910MQ 2.90 GHz.

RAM: 16GB DDR3.

2nd Monitor: 24" 1080p LED screen operating at 60Hz connected via DisplayPort -> HDMI (though HDMI -> HDMI makes no difference).

OS: Windows 7 Pro SP1.

Why would the Intel drivers be automatically forcing my resolution to 1080 interlaced when the monitor can (and does) support 1080 progressive in every other context?

Thanks.

Running 3 diplays on Intel HD4600 GFX but only 2 displaying at full res (1080p). Please help!

Hi guys,

My PC has Intel HD4600 gfx with 2 display ports and 1 VGA port. I can get 2 monitors running at 1920x1080 via the 2 DP's but when I plug in a 3rd display via VGA i can only get a max res of 1366x768, even though the screen supports up to 1920x1200.

Any idea of how I can get all three running at 1920x1080??

In case this helps the 2 displays at 1080 are Dell P2414H and the third is a Dell U2410.

Thanks!
