HD Driver setup language

$

0

I run w7 HP x64 enUS but I am located in Sweden therefore must have some local swedish settings, like the keyboard, a default non-unicode language etc.

I have English as default screen and system language, and I want all programs and drivers to have English interface.

And I manage all programs in English eccept for the Intel HD Graphics driver.

Even though I run fully manual setup and force the damn thing to be installed in English, like that:

"setup -b -overwrite -nowinsat -l 0409"

I still get parts of the menu in Swedish, and parts of the menu in English and it tells me in System Information that my Default Language is Swedish.

??????

How difficult could it be to let the user to decide which language he or she wants to run the application???? Why the things need to be automatically wrong these days?

Besides, the description of the installation switches is faulty. The switch "-l0409" (according to the description) won't be accepted, but "-l 0409" would run OK.

I am deeply disapointed in this product (Intel HD Graphics 4000). Also, I can't get it running with a primary screen on HDMI output, but it is a different story for a different thread.

Windows 8.1 Drivers for Intel HD Graphics 4000

Hello,

I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 today and I'm running into some issues. When I run GTA 4 (haven't tested any other games to be frank) - which ran fine before the update - it crashes after a while with a BSOD. The error message being:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (igdkmd64.sys)

This query in Google has led me to the information that the HD Graphics driver is crashing. The next thing I did was install the latest HD Graphics drivers. This has not yet fixed the issue.

What I just noticed while writing this is that Hardware Info 64 does not recognize my Nvidia GPU. This could mean that GTA 4 is running on the HD Graphics GPU? So at this moment I'm reinstalling my Nvidia drivers.

So I reinstalled (clean install) the Nvidia drivers. I ran GTA4 which ran for a little while longer, but still throws a BSOD after a while.

In any case, this should ne be happening, right?

System:

Asus n56vz (notebook)

CPU: Intel Core i7-3615QE (including Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Ivy Bridge GT2))

GPU: GeFore GTX 650M

Chipset: Intel HM76 (Panther Point)

Memory: 8192 MB DDR3

My new computer

CPU i5 2500 k

MB Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3

Monitor ASUS MS246H

OS Windows 7 x64

Days before, I also have the same problem that so many guys have.
I can't get the output from 2500K via the HDMI port and DVI port after install the driver,
It's fine while using the DVI or HDMI port. But when I install the driver and reboot, there is no display after the screen "Windows Starting".I go into the safe mode uninstall the driver to using the system driver, everything just go fine after reboot. And when I using the VGA port from the MB,there is no problem after install driver.I try many kinds of drivers, the HDMI and DVI port also have no display.

Now I solve the problem using the method as below:
1.prepare a vga-vga line, and connect it from MB vga port to monitor vga port
2.connect a hdmi or dvi line from mb to monitor
3.select the monitor output mode to VGA
4.power on the PC and login the system (Now it's using the vga,so there is no problem)
5.install or reinstall the driver and DO NOT restart after the job is over.
6.press WIN+P and select the duplicate mode (the second one) and press enter to confirm.
7.right click on your desktop and select "screen resolution" ,that you will see your monitor is seperated into two parts (1|2)
8.then change your monitor output mode to HDMI or DVI,Is it working now?
9.remove the vga line, and the output form hdmi or dvi is good

10.reboot the PC and everything is OK

Hope this method is useful to you, thanks.

Intel HD 4400 brightness management issues

I have the following  issues with my Optimus based laptop:

- Manually disabling "Display Advanced Energy Saving" with Intel Graphics CPL stops taking effect after sleep (it is ignored and enabled again). Please Intel disable this for 6-bit LCD panels as this combined with your static dithering leads to a very bad image quality.

- Changing brightness level seems to have a serious input lag leading to jumpy brightness transitions. The strange thing comes whenever I play a hardware accelerated video through a WMF enabled application; the input lag disappears and the brightness transitions became very smooth even if the video is played in a very small window. All the power management settings are set to maximum performance. I am unable to reproduce the same behaviour with DirectX, OGL or OCL instances it only happens with videos played through WMF. Also this only happens with Windows and not Linux (Fedora).

I have 2nd generation laptop graphic driver 3000/2000.

Why is that happening? and is there a solution to this?

Dragon Age Inquisition not running in full screen on Optimus laptops

Hello,

it is a fact that since Dragon Age Inquisition has been released in 2014, nobody with an Optimus Laptop with a mix of Intel Iris HD and Nvidia xx0m graphics card has been able to play this game in full screen.

A lot of words have been spent against Electronic Arts and Nvidia, there a couple of official threads on this issue in their respective communities, but nor EA nor Nvidia have ever replied.

A first suspect that the issue could reside in the Iris drivers was coming from the fact that desktop user has an option for scaling override in the Nvidia control panel, which solve the issue, while in laptop users the option is not present, because the scaling is of Intel card responsibility.

I finally had the confirmation that the issue resides in the intel driver when I removed it from Windows and made the Intel card running with a generic Windows driver and the game was finally running full screen.

In my case the problem appears starting from Windows 8 up to Windows 10TP 10049.

I have an Iris 4600 HD card together with a GTX980m

The driver is the latest: 15.36.18.64.4156

but the issue appears with any mix of Intel and Nvidia drivers.

It looks like the problem is not present in Windows 7.

Please Intel have a look into it, as it looks that scaling issues are not new in this forum and there are other cases reported.

eye strain

hello,

I have a Notebook with Intel Core i7 4710 - Intel Graphics 4600 and external Nvidia Gforce GTX 850M for about 2 weeks now. I connect the Notebook on two different places per HDMI with nearly three year old lg monitors. With my old Notebook (Intel Core2Duo and Nvidia Gforce 9500GT) I had not any problems with this two monitors. However when I connect one of the two monitors with my new Notebook I get eye strain and headache. Of course I use the right resolution FullHD and tried out different brigthness and contrast adjustments in intel graphic properties. OS is Windows 7 Prof x64  and the newest drivers are installed. Version:15.33.22.64.3621
Nearly two months ago I purchased an other Notebook with Intel Core i7 4700MQ - Intel Graphics 4600 and Nvidia Gforce GT755 M. I had the same problem there and so I sent it back, because I thought that the Notebook has an defect. I tried out Windows 7 and Windows 8 and had the same eye problems in the two different OS.
Now I do not really know what the problem exactly is, because I have these problems with two different Notebooks on two different external LG Monitors and the integrated Displays of the Notebooks. But I thinkt the problem is the Intel HD 4600. Maybe that there is something wrong with the driver.
Do you have any ideas about this? Couse  I can't purchase and send back new Notebooks all the time.

Sorry for my bad english

Why black looks gray using Intel HD Graphics drivers on Z3735F and z3770?

I've noticed a strange behaviour using the intel drivers. Below you can see two picture of the same tablet connected via hdmi to an external monitor: the first one with the Intel HD Graphics driver, the second one with the Microsoft Basic Display driver. In the first image black is gray. I tried to decrease the brightness and the gamma in the intel panel and in the windows color calibration tool, I also tried to downgrade the drivers, but nothing seems to work.

Yea i just wanna ask you intel people why this graphics card sucks so bad? I mean i bought it in a macbook pro 13" 2011, when i was playing a game, yea it had LOOOWW frame rate. And when i tried it on my friends mbp 13" 2010, containing NVIDIA 256MB graphics card, compared to intel hd graphics 3000 (384MB) , it had NO LAG. So please, I have been waiting for a driver for this graphics card. So I hope you guys will make one which will improve performance, as your last driver was 13 of April. PLEASE, Intel.

Buffer overrun detected! when starting Call of Duty (1.0)

Hello Intel,

I have an Intel i5 3210M CPU with an Intel HD 4000 graphics core. Since driver version 15.33.22.64.3621 (published ~May 2014) the game crashes shortly after starting CoDSP.exe (Singel Player) or CoDMP.exe (Multiplayer). So the game tries to start up and immediately crashes (black screen, Windows error sound, "hidden" error message):

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: .......(path)\Call of Duty\CoDSP.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated."

CoD2.png

Google told me that I'm not the only one with the same problem:

Call of Duty 1 Buffer Overrun Detected - Steam Users' Forums

Re: Latest version of intel iris pro drivers causes buffer overrun with Call of Duty 1?

Buffer Overrun Error :: Call of Duty General Discussions

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Buffer Overrun - Microsoft Community

AMD & Nvidia had also this issue some time ago but they fixed it obviously in their drivers (e.g. Nvidia in v195.39, see changelog).

I tested a lot things which might help you to solve this problem:

1) All drivers since 15.33.22.64.3621 (inclusiv) cause this issue (also the latest 15.33.35.64.4176 ! )

2) With driver version 15.33.14.64.3412 (and older) the game works flawlessly and therefore doesn't crash.

---> There must have been a change between these two version which causes  these crashes since this point in time.

3) There is a workaround for the problematic driver versions (see SteamCommunity): copying and changing the name of one of the two "game-lauchers" (CoDSP.exe/CoDMP.exe) into "mohaa.exe" solves the problem when a problematic driver version (15.33.22.64.3621 and above) is installed!!! This is quite crazy. Mohaa should stand for the computer game "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault". However when using a random name like abc.exe the game crashes again while starting...

---> It looks like renaming the .exe's to mohaa.exe forces the driver to use an internal driver profile (created by Intel for MoHAA), which is obviously also compatible with Call of Duty (1). Therefore this workaround makes it possible to use the latest Intel graphics driver(s) with Call of Duty 1. I know, this sounds quite crazy...but it is like that ;-)

Can you please  have a look at this driver issue and change it in the next release? It looks like resolving this issue shouldn't be that complicated for Intel engineers.

PS: I use Windows 7 x64 Professional and the retail version of CoD1 without Steam... but Steam users are probably also bothered (see my links above).

Thank you very much!

Minimum Requirements - Unable to install HD4600 drivers

Hello!

First post here. I'm looking to install graphics drivers for my Intel Core i5 4670k. The driver I have is an x64 driver for my x64 installation of Windows 7 and it's telling me I do not meet the minimum system requirements. I have been googling and found that it could be to do with my Nvidia GPU being in at the time, and that the graphics are switched off. But I can't believe this for a minute, when even with a GPU the system is supposed to support QuickSync, which requires it to be on.

I'm trying to install the drivers to get QuickSync to work... Do I need to switch off my system, with only the integrated chip being used and unplug my GPU just to install the bloody thing? Or am I missing something here? I'm also using an MSI Z87-G43 mobo.

Cheers,

Steve

Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family

Hello,   I am having a heck of a time with this driver that I have messed with for the past couple of days and I'm stumped.

In the device manager I see a yellow circle with a black exclamation point next to the "Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family"

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems." (Code 43)

I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64, 4gb memory, Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00ghz

I downloaded the last driver available for this from Intel directly, but after install & reboot the same old driver is still there. the new one is not there instead. Frustrating!!

Please Help!

Thank You.
