Hello, Today i was suggested by one of my friends to update my integrated graphics.

I installed the Driver Update Utility program and ran it and proceeded to update and install it.

When it was done, i checked to see again in to make sure, but it still telling me its outdated when installing it again, its the same version it tried to install and my Driver

is not updated and is the same version it was before.

Help?

EDIT: tried to do it manually, does not meet the minimum requirements? Though my pc does.

EDIT2: taken care of that one, but its still stuck on 10.18.10.4276 after trying to install it to 15.33.38.64.1252?

Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver stopped responding and has recovered.

Hello, sorry for bringing up a pretty common issue, but I just can't seem to get my laptop to stop showing the message. I have checked other threads, but I have yet to find the solution. Also, a majority of them were in 2013, so I figured I make my own discussion to get an answer as soon as possible and answers can change within time.

This is the message I keep receiving:wtfdude.JPG

It generally appears when I play a game. A few minutes after the game starts running, the screen will turn completely gray and flash repeatedly as it is trying to get my screen back to normal. When the screen does go back to normal, that's when that message appears. It only doesn't just appear when I play games though. Sometimes, when I'm just surfing the web, the screen will go gray again. On the off chance that it doesn't go back to normal, I either, turn off my laptop or my laptop crashes, resulting in this: Laptopissue.jpg

My laptop is a HP G72-C55DX Notebook PC

Here is my DxDiag report:

On the intel site the the .4252 drives is marked as the latest but the date is from 7/29/2015. But the .4276  is a driver from a more recent time 9/21/2015 but is marked as Previously Released. Is there a new driver to download?

According to Graphics Drivers — Supported Operating Systems there is no support of Intel HD Graphics 3000 for Windows 10.

When the support for Windows 10 for Intel HD Graphics 3000 will arrive?

Will be the new WDDM 2.0 driver model be supported for Intel HD Graphics 3000 for Windows 10?

Thanks,

First Post, Sorry if Not OK, need help with HDMI output

Hey. Please redirect me if needed.
I have an acer aspire e1-572G, I just recently upgraded to windows 10, and I do not have HDMI audio output. I have video, works great, but cannot for the life of me get audio. HDMI isn't even listed in my device manager, and it isn't disabled in the device list, it just isn't there. I have tried drivers. Thing is I don't always know exactly which one I need. I tried from Acer's site. one of them made me need to start from scratch it messed everything up so bad.

I've provided a screenshot that should help. Note that the HD audio device has the yellow triangle, and HDMI isn't listed under input and output devices.

Help please! I can't wait to connect to my TV and watch shows again

Thanks in advance

Need help with Iris 540 driver continually crashing on Surface Pro 4 i7/16/256

I have a brand new Microsoft Surface Pro 4, with an i7 CPU, 256GB SSD, and 16GB RAM. The Iris 540 driver crashes within a couple minutes of bootup, ever single time. I'm not the only one with this issue, acording to the Microsoft support boards. (I know that others are experiencing an issue where the Intel display driver will crash when trying to resume from sleep, but this is not that problem.)

Any of the four Intel Iris 540 display drivers I have found will crash within a couple minutes of bootup during use. To be more clear, the screen goes black and has to be powered off by holding the power button; there is no recovery or error message. The only stable driver I've managed to use is the Microsoft Generic Display Driver, which seems to be doing everything in software, avoiding the Iris chipset altogether.

Is anyone else having this problem, or just me? Did I get bad hardware? My SP4 is an i7/256/16, the model just released on 11/25/2015. Here are the drivers I have tried:

Build Driver date
--------------------
4236  11/20/2015
4236  11/18/2015
4308  10/27/2015
4256  07/17/2015

Here is the output from DXDIAG when the driver is installed, but has not yet crashed: http://pasted.co/98e68195

I have a thread open on Microsoft's support forums as well, but all they've done so far is to confirm that this is not expected behavior. (Duh!)

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,

Mick

Haswell, flying texture in Sonic Adventure 2

The problem looks similar to  Re: Haswell flying textures and driver crashes . Same hardware, same OS.

The name of the game is Sonic Adventure 2. It can be obtained through Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/213610/

Problem:

About 1 minute after the start of the first stage a flying model of some kind of vehicle appears just above the head of the character. It moves along with the camera and occasionally blinks when the character moves. It happens always (100%), easy to reproduce. Just start the game and play for a few minutes. The problem does not appear on other graphics adapters (like NVidia or ATI).

Why do I keep getting the error "Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(r) stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

I have tried multiple fixes and have updated all graphics drivers using the intel drive update utility and I still get this error at least twice a day.

Intel Error.jpg

I have a brand new ASUS Zenbook UX303UB running Windows 10. I have taken it out of the box and done tons of updates, but otherwise it's brand new. I tried updating the drivers from ASUS's website and still had the issue. Then I tried updating all drivers from Intel's website and I still have the issue.

Please advise, I am desperate.

I have a Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 driver for windows 8 and when I play minecraft, my screen flickers only for minecraft. I thought it would be just updating my drivers but I do not know how to update them. Any thoughts on how to update it I have searched on the update part of support and it said my computer does not hold the driver requested. As well as any thoughts on why my screen flickers on minecraft only?

Intel HD Graphics 4000 and Windows 10 November Update (Build 10586) Compatibility

I am using the latest version of the 4000 graphics drivers (15.33.39.4276) on Windows 10 64-bit build 10586 (November update). I noticed some compatibility issues with the driver when running Photoshop CC 2015 and the graphics driver crashes/does not work properly after opening Photoshop. I also noticed that taskbar thumbnail previews disappear quickly when hovering the mouse pointer over that thumbnail preview, making it difficult to change apps by using the taskbar thumbnail previews. This same behavior does not occur with the latest drivers installed on Windows 10 build 10240. Is there any workaround for this besides going back to Windows 10 build 10240? Since the latest Intel 6th generation graphics drivers have been updated to support Windows 10 build 10586, will the latest version of Windows 10 be supported by the Intel HD graphics 4000 drivers in the future?

Intel HD Graphics 4600 artifacts when running with drivers

Hey guys!

So, I've been struggling with this for a while now, since there is little to none info on the issue I've got in the internet. Perhaps someone here will be able to help.

I have a Eurocom X3 laptop powered by i7 4800MQ, the GPU is nVidia 780GTX, if it matters somehow. For almost a year, the laptop was functioning fine in any tasks, including gaming. Then, all of a sudden, one day it began showing artifacts on the screen. Hasn't been overheated or dropped or anything, just snapped into this condition. Since the laptop was still on warranty, I requested RMA, which was fulfilled - the manufacturer reported the CPU was tested and failed, so they replaced it with an i7 4810MQ. The chip itself looked the same as the faulty i7 4800MQ (there was a slight scuff mark on the mirrored finish of both chips), but that did not concern me - when it was installed and the laptop was tested, there were no more artifacts. That was the middle of November last year.

However, a few days ago the artifacts returned. Same as the previous time - no impact, no overload - just office operation with a movie in the background and snap - there they were.

The warranty is now over, though I've sent a request to Eurocom support - we'll see about their move. But for now, I believe it is essential to establish the reason for those artifacts, specifically what causes them to appear.

I've been doing quite a lot of testing today, including formatting the hard drive and clean installing Windows 7 x64, memory testing with Windows standard utility, and... found out, that the artifacts only appear when I install Intel HD Graphics driver (tried both 15.36.7.64.3960 and 15.36.14.64.4080 versions), specifically after the computer restarts at the end of the installation. When I uninstall the graphics driver, the artifacts disappear prior to the final step of the installer dialogue (asking if I am going to restart the PC now or later). The laptop is otherwise absolutely clean, except for the chipset driver (first tried the graphics drivers with Eurocom supplied version, being 9.4.0.1017, then updated with the latest 10.0.24 and tried everything once again).

So, the question is: can two CPUs with faulty iGPUs end up in one hands?

Or there is a simpler explanation to this whole situation.

Attached are a few screenshots for you guys (hopefully some guys will actually notice this thread =) to grasp the scope of the problem.

problem regarding the text and image rendering

Dear intel community,

I am using ASUS Z97A motherboard and intel 4th generation core  I5 4440 PROCESSOR 3.1 Ghz.  and win 8.1.

images and text are appearing blurry everywhere even though I update my drivers to the latest versions. Both the processor and the motherboard are newly bought. I usually use the scaling level to 150% in display settings.

In the BIOS itself alone without actually proceeding to OS  it seems to me the text is looking blurry like they are chopped. This blurriness continues to the OS. Image looking dull, pale and unclear. Text is like unrounded, chopped.

The processor that I am using supports intel HD graphics 4600.

I am unable to find out whether the motherboard is failing me or the processor integrated graphics . Even though the graphics card used proved to be unfruitful.

I really appreciate your help in this regard.

8159769 [SCALING BUG] Windows 10 / Intel HD Graphics 4600 - Impossible to get rid of 'Black Borders' problem - Stuck at 'Constrain proportions'

$

=== Device/Software information ===

32 GB DDR3L-1600 G-Skill RipJaws,

Intel Core i7-4710MQ

Intel HD Graphics 4600

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M 4GB GDDR5

128 GB Samsung SSD (Boot)

1 TB Samsung Evo 850 (Games)

1 TB Hitachi HDD (Data)

Driver Version: 15.40.4.64.4256

OS Version: Windows 10 Educational

=== Problem Description ===

No matter what settings you choose for your display in Intel HD Graphics Control Panel -> Display -> Basic -> Scaling,

When you launch a fullscreen application the setting will be ignored and it will revert back to 'constrain propostions' when enabling fullscreen, then when you alt-tab to desktop it will go back to your selected mode, then you alt tab to game and it will go back to proportions setting again, making it impossible to get rid of the black borders.

The setting only is applicable in Windows 10 Desktop, doesn't work for fullscreen apps.

It worked good in Windows 8.1, I just upgraded from 8.1 to 10.

In windows 8.1 I could game on any resolution without black borders - a nice, full, filled screen.

I think I have the same issue as the sir here: Inter HD Graphics Scaling Games after Windows 10 upgrade

Please fix this ASAP or suggest steps to fix.

Problem does not happen without drivers (Driverless) -> Games run in full screen / fill screen mode at any resolution (so this is not a Windows bug).

Clean install drivers Intel HD 5500

Hello everyone, I have integrated graphics Intel HD 5500 and would like to do a clean installation of the driver as soon as when switched on for the first time the PC. I already tried to do it from the management of devices from Microsoft, but I noticed a few details, the first after uninstalling the driver and reboot the PC, I do not give me the time to see the version that I already install the driver automatically, and even disabling connection does not know where they are going to take. Second, after reinstalling the control panel of the graphics card stays with the same settings as before so in practice is not restored ... <br />

I have Windows 10 64-bit, and was wondering if anyone of you knows how to return to the original state without the driver having no residual files of older drivers to avoid other problems. Thank you all

On the intel site the the .4252 drives is marked as the latest but the date is from 7/29/2015. But the .4276  is a driver from a more recent time 9/21/2015 but is marked as Previously Released. Is there a new driver to download?

Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 Crashing Game

I have just bought World of Warcraft and have been exited to play it, though I am having issues. After about ten minutes of play time the game crashes/freezes to a point where I cant even open my task manager to close the game, leave the only way to fix it by restarting my laptop. When I contacted the company that made the game (Blizzard) the main thing they mentioned was that my video card was out of date/ needed updating. Upon research I found that the 4600 version I not know to the game and doesn't work. I attempted to download the 4000 version for my windows system but it either says my computer is not compatible or that it doesn't work with my processor. I am using a HP ENVY 15-k073ca Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) model number G6U31UA. I would appreciate if someone could respond with a fix.
