Graphics problems watching online TV

$

I had Intel HD 10.18.10.3355... It wouldn't let me update anything, and watching shows on NBC or CBS is impossible... The audio is perfect, but the video is blurry and choppy / pauses a lot... Youtube is perfect for playback... It doesn't matter if flash hardware acceleration is off or on

I did a full factory restore, after which I was able to install 10.18.10.4276, but it didn't fix anything... I was provided a link by a rep. in chat that didn't work either, and resulted in an error saying "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"... I'm picking the right driver for the 8.1, 64 bit...

The computer manufacturer (ASUS) lists the 3355 as the latest driver, so that's no help... This problem just started 2 days ago, and I have had the laptop for over a year, sometimes having to watch shows that aren't on Hulu...

Any ideas???

Intel HD 4400 Driver For Vista

Hi,I want to ask where i can find the driver for windows vista x64

Since Intel Has forcibly added their chipsets and graphics,It is our very right to ask for a driver for any O/S,Whether Dated or Outdated

I prefer Vista Over 7,8,10, But Thats Not the Point,The point is,Since Intel Forcibly Gives Us their Products Inbuilt,We Should Have The Option of Choosing Our O/S Be It XP,Vista,7,8,10

Intel Should Provide Drivers For Each And Every O/S, Nevertheless Discontinued,Outdated

Intel Probably Discontinued Vista Drivers Seeing No one Using it , Though They Are Wrong , There are atleast 10,000 people using vista and are happy with it , I want Vista Too, False Critism Wont affect me

Many People Want to Install Vista But Are Unable to do so Due to Lack of drivers, WHY? Intel saw less population on XP/Vista so they discontinued the Drivers. When We Have Paid Money For an intel Item

Forcibly We Deserve the Choice of O/S, Now As of 2014 XP is discontinued, So intel Stopped Drivers for them.

Even Nvidia Supports XP/Vista till today and we arent forced into buying those As we can select only for running a system on "Intel"

I really Want Intel to stop acting Retarded, Ok they discontinued an O/S? Atleast Give Us Drivers on Special Requests, And Not Only Supporting Vista, Im Supporting All O/S from Windows 2000 to 10

There are still people modifying drivers to get them to work on windows 2000 why? Intel Didnt Give them Support. Think Im Lying? Go to MSFN.org and Find Out,They Wanted 2000 and Felt it as a better choice Over Newer O/S

I Would Request Intel to Give Me a Driver For Intel HD 4400 for Vista X64

Hi,

My laptop Acer Aspire P3 171  64-bit windows 10 got a problem on intel hd graphics 4000, brightness can not be adjusted. I already had the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver version 10.18.10.4276 installed and I have edited the registry  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000] "FeatureTestControl"= and change the value data to f008, but the problem still persists. Is there any registry value that I should edit to fix this problem?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Intel graphics 4600 experiences black screen after windows logo

Hi,

I'm using the latest drivers for the device - 10.18.14.4332.

The computer boots ok until Windows logo is shown, then the screen is getting black.

I know that the system runs ok because I can connect to it using remote desktop.

I also know that the monitor gets a signal (probably black or bad), as if it wasn't getting a signal it would start flipping analog / digital inputs looking for a signal.

When uninstalling the Intel's driver (and using windows default driver) display is back to normal, but no acceleration exists so videos look awful, therefore this is unacceptable.

I can run safe mode and switch to FHD resolution, and it runs ok. So everything which is HW is probably good.

Motherboard - Gigabyte H87, Windows 7 SP1 desktop, connecting to the monitor with a DVI cable (which is obviously ok, see previous line).

Please assist. This is a 2.5 y/o machine, I expect such issues not to exist in such a mature HW.

Thanks

I uninstalled my Intel HD graphics adapter, thinking it was interfering with my AMD Radeon graphic card. It wasn't. Now You Tube videos take 10 seconds to load. I removed my CMOS battery for an hour, hoping to reset the BIOS, but there is no mention of graphics at all in my ASUS BIOS. i want the integrated graphics card back.

Also, I downloaded the latest Intel graphics drivers, but they will not install. "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software. win64_153336.

HD 4000 Driver and Windows 10 Scaling/Rendering Problem

$

I have recently updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. The issue I run into is scaling and rendering in games. The issue is older games contain black bars on both sides of the screen. Before updating to Windows 10 I had no issues and games would stretch to the full screen, which is what I preferred. Below are the specs and steps I have already tried to solve the issue.

Specs

A. Windows 10

B. Intel HD 4000 and NVidia 630M (Intel Driver tried 10.18.10.4242 and 10.18.10.4252 neither would work at displaying full screen in some games) (NVidia Driver 10.18.13.5362 no issues with Nvidia)

C. Samsung Series 5 computer with Intel Core i7

Things I have already tried

A. Tried updating drivers through windows update (Makes no difference)

B. Tried downloading Intel Iris Beta Driver and Installing (Won't let me install, I keep getting different messages a) Driver is not validated for your computer b) Driver does not match specifications c) Tried installing manually with "Let me choose the driver" still can't do it d) Tried the Intel Driver Utility (It finds no drivers on each scan).

C. Went to graphic properties menu and mess with settings. This doesn't work because the choice to "Stretch to Fullscreen" no longer exists. Tried creating a custom resolution but won't let me. The suggested resolution is 1366 x 768.

D. Switch to lower resolution when playing some games that won't stretch chose 1024 x 768. This works but has to be done every single time I want to play a game, then have to switch back to 1366 x 768 when I leave the game. Very very very inconvenient.

E. Tried using SW Update Utility with Samsung. Nothing to update.

The scaling option of "Stretch to Fullscreen" needs to come back into the graphic properties menu. This appears to be an issue with the Driver and Windows 10 for people with HD 4000. Any suggestions are welcome to fix this issue.

Windows 10 (1511) high CPU usage by 'System and compressed memory' process

$

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro 15" 2015 with an Intel Core i7-4980HQ and Intel Iris Pro 5200 graphics (discrete IGP only, no Nvidia card).

Under Windows 10 Treshold 2 (v1511) (bootcamp) one of the eight cores is continuously used by the System and compressed memory process when the Intel driver is used for the discrete graphics. When the Intel driver is uninstalled and I revert back to the Microsoft driver the problem goes away.

The problem also happens only when you do a cold start (after shutdown) or reboot. If you put the laptop to sleep or hibernate to problem also goes away. So the workaround for now is not do a reboot or shut down but hibernate or sleep.

I have tested this with the Apple provided drivers for the Iris Pro and the latest drivers from Intel: Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen] version 15.40.10.64.4300.

The problem is easily reproducible: uninstall the Intel Iris Pro from device manager and tick "remove driver software" and after a reboot the problem is gone. Reinstall the Intel Graphics Driver and after a reboot the problem is back. So I suspect somewhere along the line there is a conflict between the driver and Windows 10. Since the issue can be solved with sleep or hibernate I'd suspect something with the ACPI driver.

Has anyone else had this problem or contacted Intel about this?

eye strain

hello,

I have a Notebook with Intel Core i7 4710 - Intel Graphics 4600 and external Nvidia Gforce GTX 850M for about 2 weeks now. I connect the Notebook on two different places per HDMI with nearly three year old lg monitors. With my old Notebook (Intel Core2Duo and Nvidia Gforce 9500GT) I had not any problems with this two monitors. However when I connect one of the two monitors with my new Notebook I get eye strain and headache. Of course I use the right resolution FullHD and tried out different brigthness and contrast adjustments in intel graphic properties. OS is Windows 7 Prof x64  and the newest drivers are installed. Version:15.33.22.64.3621
Nearly two months ago I purchased an other Notebook with Intel Core i7 4700MQ - Intel Graphics 4600 and Nvidia Gforce GT755 M. I had the same problem there and so I sent it back, because I thought that the Notebook has an defect. I tried out Windows 7 and Windows 8 and had the same eye problems in the two different OS.
Now I do not really know what the problem exactly is, because I have these problems with two different Notebooks on two different external LG Monitors and the integrated Displays of the Notebooks. But I thinkt the problem is the Intel HD 4600. Maybe that there is something wrong with the driver.
Do you have any ideas about this? Couse  I can't purchase and send back new Notebooks all the time.

Mixed language display problem with Intel HD graphics control panel for Win 10 (64bit)

$

I have been plagued by the language switch problem encountered by many Intel HD graphic driver users, my OS is win 10 English 64bit, but with the non-Unicode supporting the Chinese language, since we do need such a multiple language configuration. Now the Intel Graphic Control Panel along with the right-click menu for Intel graphic is in Chinese while all other interfaces remain in English. It is quite uncomfortable with such an awkward mixed display. Could you please let me know the bug fix or solution which should be useful and effective for removing this trouble?

I have tried hard to solve this annoying problem, even followed some tips and workarounds as posted by many practitioners, but unsuccessful for the Win 10(64bit). This problem still remains to be discussed and solved, since all those tips and tricks posted on the websites don’t work fine with this phenomenon.

As you may know, this problem has caused widespread headaches of Intel driver users, but why Intel has not taken any action to correct it, even with the new updates.

I wonder if you have a good way or solution for fixing this display bug, I would much appreciate it if you, representing the Intel, could offer us the most-needed help.

    Thanks

Dear intel community,

I am using ASUS Z97A motherboard and intel 4th generation core  I5 4440 PROCESSOR 3.1 Ghz.  and win 8.1.

images and text are appearing blurry everywhere even though I update my drivers to the latest versions. Both the processor and the motherboard are newly bought. I usually use the scaling level to 150% in display settings.

In the BIOS itself alone without actually proceeding to OS  it seems to me the text is looking blurry like they are chopped. This blurriness continues to the OS. Image looking dull, pale and unclear. Text is like unrounded, chopped. I tried in all D-SUB HDMI DVI but no useful.

The processor that I am using supports intel HD graphics 4600.

I am unable to find out whether the motherboard is failing me or the processor integrated graphics . Even though the graphics card used proved to be unfruitful.

I really appreciate your help in this regard.

3D Movie playback left-right frames out of sync

$

0

Hi,

I just built a new HTPC using the Core i5-6600 CPU, Intel Z170 chipset, clean install of Win 10 64b and PowerDVD15. Fully updated BIOS, PowerDVD software and Intel drivers fresh from your website (v.4352).

I am seeing inconsistent playback of 3D Bluray. (1080p/24Hz; frame-packing), the image distorts frequently and cause an image that looks like watching the 3D movie under water. It is clear to me that the left-right frame sync is not working with the Intel setup. As soon as there is movement in the picture it becomes unbearable to watch. I thought that this would be a nice upgrade from the AMD APU A10 I had been using before..... At least the AMD setup could play the 3D blurays without problems.

This is to me without a doubt an Intel driver issue. I can see on the forum that there are others who have highlighted this issue for more than 6 months now. This is soooo very frustrating, and quite frankly very unexpected that Intel would be this bad at writing drivers for their hardware.

I've tried changing all the recommended settings in the display driver settings, I've also disabled de-interlacing etc. in PowerDVD, but nothing works. I've also tried an older driver (v.4300), which has the same problem, although it seems like it's not as bad as in the latest driver.

Please prioritize a fix for this in your graphics drivers. 3D playback is part of the supposedly supported features of your chip, and it should be a priority to fix.

Thank you.
