I have put together the following configuration/hardware into a brand new system

- Intel i3-4130 CPU (Only just released in Australia)

- ASRock B85M-ITX Motherboard

- Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (I am definitely using the 64-bit version as verified in the 'Computer properties' screen), all updates are installed.

- No add-on graphics card is installed, the display output works fine, however searching for the best driver results in only the "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter"

- Single stick of 4GB RAM

My intention is to use the on-chip HD 4400 graphics capabilities of the CPU, however I am unable to install the driver provided with the motherboard CD or the official driver provided by Intel.

When I try the Win64_15319.exe automated install driver I get the message "This operating system is not supported" OR "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software" with the Intel driver provided with the motherboard.

So I have also downloaded the Win64_15319.zip, extracted, then followed the manual procedure of selecting the : igdhc64.inf file to install the display driver (as per the readme).  The list of available graphics chipsets are:

Intel HD Graphics

Intel HD Graphics 4000

Intel HD Graphics 4600

plus others

But no option is presented for the Intel HD Graphics 4400 that is included with the i3-4130?  Selecting the "Intel HD Graphics" or "Intel HD Graphics 4600" options results in the error - "The driver selected for this device does not support this version of Windows" as well as warning about incompatibility first.

I have allocated the maximum amount of memory to the graphics within the motherboard BIOS (1GB) and also tried the AUTO setting just in case that had some bearing.

Is the current driver missing support for the HD 4400 or possibly broken, or am doing something wrong? Any ideas are welcome!  This CPU has only just been released, so there isn't any previous discussions I can find..  Should I try reinstalling from scratch?

i have a FUJITSU LIFEBOOK AH531 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000/

for a few days now my laptop keeps blacking out, freezes and then unfreeze and this message pops up saying, "display driver intel graphics accelerator drivers for windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered"' It keeps happening around every 5 minutes.

i updated my display driver to the latest version and it didnt help...

Intel HD 4600 Grpahics Controller and AMD Radeon 8790M

Latest Dell-supplied drivers for Intel and Radeon  (Intel is v9.18.10.3204)

PROBLEM:  When trying to use Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop, the program crashes and Windows gives a "Close Program" error.

Here is a screen shot from the event viewer:

Creative Cloud .exe is crashing and blaming igdumdim32.dll in System32.... but igdumdim32.dll is NOT in System32....  igdimdum64.dll is...

The 32-bit DLL is not in system32, nor is it bound to the controller (when checking Driver Details in Device Manager), the 64-bit DLL is bound ot the controller.

SysWOW64 has the 32-bit DLLs...

Now, the ONLY way to get Creative Cloud.exe to work is to UNINSTALL the Intel HD 4600 AND delete the Intel Drivers....  The result is that the Intel controller reverts to Plain Jane VGA drivers...  This is NOT acceptable for long term use, as I sacrifice use of the graphics switching capabilities to my Radeon and forfeit high performance graphics in ALL my other apps.

As an aside...  Windows System Rating also crashes out when the drivers are installed... never have been able to make it complete.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi, I recently built a new computer, and just wanted to get it up and running, but have not been able to quite yet.

Any time I watch videos online, youtube, espn, etc, the display flickers and I get the message, the display driver has crashed and has recovered.

I have scoured the web trying to find a solution but everything I have tried has been unsuccessful.

Specs:

ASUS: P8Z77-V LK

Intel: i5-3570k

Corsair Dominator Ram @ 1600 8 GBs

Intel HD 4000 Graphics

My bios is updated to the most current version, which is about a week old. version 1104

I have tried both the generic intel version of the graphics driver (version 3165) and ASUS's latest (version 2828)

I settled on version 2828.

I'm not overclocking at all, everything in the bios is default.

Would  love some help with this please.

i've got a strange problem on my  i7-4700MQ with HD 4600. I use Windows 7 32bit with 16MB RAM. After the small kernel hack windows can utilize the whole RAM amount. Only the Intel HD 4600 hangs the system on boot on driver loading, if i allow windows to see more than 4GB. Either it is a bug in a hardware or it is a bug in a driver that assumes, that Windows 7 32 bit shouldn't have more than 4gb.

My questions is:

Is it possible to configure the driver, to work with more than 4gb? Could Intel correct the driver? How HD 4600 works with windows servers 32 bit with huge ram? Can i disable the HD4600 but use the installed nvidia gt 750m adapter with full featured driver.

There seems to be some kind of graphical corruption in XBMC with the new drivers ... icons/logos get corrupted in the interface and there are some other minor corruptions in lists (will upload images later when i get home).

I'm running the latest 64-bit drivers on two different systems both with an i3 (HD 4000) and both experience the same problem.

Operating system used is win 8 (one PRO and the other "vanilla" win 8). System 1 is runnig XBMC 12 and the other XBMC 12.1 and both are runnig the "Aeon Nox" skin .. same corruption in both.

Can someone else please confirm this issue.

So the reason why I can't run newer video games isn't because of anything else on my computer BUT the Intel 4000 HD Graphics. I've even gone onto systemrequirementslab.com, checked if I could run Battlefield 3, and the results say that I have all the recommended hardware EXCEPT for 1 GB of Dedicated Video RAM. However, when I checked if I could run Battlefield 2, the results said that I could run it on the highest possible settings because apparently, I had 1.7 GB of Dedicated Video RAM. Why is it that DVTM on the Intel 4000 seems to work for games made in 2005, but not for games made in 2012 when it clearly has enough Total Video RAM to do so?

I am using a BGT3620 and am noticing occasional stuttering in HD freeview channels on Windows Media Center in the UK. It seems to happen a lot in wide panning shots. Watching Formula 1 on the BBC really shows this up. There are several threads discussing this issue with no solution. Recorded live HD shows the same. If I bring up the MCE info (411 then the info button) the frame rate seems to jump form 50hz to 25hz and back causing the stutter. I have switched off all the post processing in the graphics driver (helped a little) and my signal is strong - I live 2 miles from the transmitter. Playback of Blu-ray and HD .mkv files are fine.

System spec:

Intel i3 3225 with HD4000 graphics (latest driver)

Asus H77 based motherboard

Blackgold BGT3620 dual channel HD freeview card

4Gig RAM

Hi, I just got a new desktop computer with a Asus P5K-VM motherboard that comes with a Intel G31/33 graphic chipset.

I discovered that I was not able to select the resolution that my monitor needs, 1440x900, all the other resolutions look awful. I checked in the Intel website and there is a driver version that is supposed to fix this issue, but I have downloaded it and installed it and the problem remains, I can not select 1440x900 in the list of available resolutions.

I've got 2 Dell B130's 1 is working properly 1 not so good. Problem is video driver for Win. 7. About 18 to 24 months ago I loaded my B130 with Win. 7 I had a little trouble at 1st. finding a video driver. I got a good working driver from I don't know where, it's an Intel driver version 6.14.10.4764.  I've tried Intel's Driver utility but it just says the intel driver ver. 6.14.10.4609 won't work. I'm stumped on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a lg 29ea93-p monitor and would like to use the native resolution of 2560x1080 but my mainboard asrock z77 extreme4 doesnt support dsiplayport.

Is it possibplle to use a displayport adapter? What other options do I have?

Hi, I was reading INTEL sch datasheet (download section) but i don't understand something. There is a little table that show functional strap. What is a functional strap? How can i modify it? I'm interested in CFG0 Control that should manage gfx frequency(from 1 to 0)g. Is it editable by bios(where?acpi?) Or is a hardware setting?

Actually I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro Preview and there is this boring issue: OpenGL 2.0 (included in the installer) isn't used by OS

I read a lot of websites around this problem but no solution is working for me.

Solutions available:

-Update driver (Intel GMA 500 Official Driver ended in early 2010; there isn't newer IEMGD last April 2013)

-Install in compatible mode: Tested Win8-7-Vista SP2-XP sp3

-Install manually from Device Manager

-Edit Driver Installer INI file adding line for Win 6.2 and Win 6.3

-Check if Opengl is correctly installed (yes is in C:\windows\system32 and is registered in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000 )  [ in my case idogl32.dll by Intel]

From What i read is a stupid Installer problem but is "unbelievable" that INTEL doesn't FIX for older Graphic Driver working under Win7 and working under Win8.1 with compatibility mode!

Using the new Haswell processor on an Asus Z*&I-Deluxe motherboard.  Should have 4k resolution support.  Not seeing anything above 1920x1080 resolution listed in the driver control panel.

How do I achieve 4k resolution?  (LG 84LM9600 - 84" 4k set)

I am able to send it 4k from my Oppo BD-103 Blu Ray player,  so I know it works.

Looked at CustomModeApp.exe and put in the appropriate numbers (I think) and it says it switches, but checking the set, it is not receiving a 4k signal - still on 1920x1080 60 Hz.

Any recommendations would be extremely helpful.  Spoke to Asus and they sent me to you guys.

Hi all, I've bought new computer with Intel DB85FL MB and Pentium G3220 CPU (this MB is in CPU's supported MB list). I can't install graphics driver. I've tried all graphics drivers in Intel download center, also tried "automatically find drivers and software" section with no luck  - this section using internet explorer crashes IE down, with firefox "searches" drivers more than hour (I've notices that this section always NOT WORKING if the are no graphics driver installed). Utility in CD that came with motherboard simply failed, windows driver update wizard didn't find any compatible drivers in CD or drivers in zip files that I've downloaded from Intel. Any ideas?

hy i have a problems... i have a intel hd 4000 internal card on my pc (samsung np550p7c-t06it windows 8 64 bit) and graphics i too bad...... I have vertical stripes on the screen and the blue has a halo effect that makes bad vision ... the vertical lines are seen especially above blue color ... and I would like to update the video bios is still at version 0.1. I tried to contact samsung with no luck ... I chatted with an intel worker who unfortunately I proposed to install a generic driver that I solved the problem ... I tried to configure the colors and settings of windows and using the Board software settings (right click on the desktop) but nothing ..... blue and stripes remain alone and I don't find either a way to update the video bios ....

Where can I download the Xeon E3-1225 graphics driver for Windows 2012 (x64)?

Just installed a new processor / motherboard and need driver.

Hello Graphics Communities!

For a very long time now we've been trying to track down, diagnose, and correct an issue that seems to be happening all across the board with Intel® Graphics.  Users, for various reasons - seem to have issues with OEM systems (and Intel® NUC's) losing their display for different events.

• Installing new drivers
• Rebooting
• Computers idling, going into sleep or hibernation
• Other random events

We have run into a stumbling block in fixing this issue, and that is that we are unable to reproduce the symptoms above.  We have ordered exact-matching systems, displays and cables - and matched our configurations to those of the users having problems, and we are completely unable to reproduce the problem.  The issue is complex, but in this particular case - it stems from the fact that two users with the same configuration are not guaranteed to have the problem, it varies from user to user, system to system, display to display.

What we at Intel® are asking now though is 2-fold.  If you are one of these users (or a business) experiencing a consistent black-screening issue as mentioned above, we would like to procure your COMPLETE system configuration.  This means, we want you to ship us (at our expense) - the System (desktop or laptop), display (TV, monitor) AND the cable (hdmi, dp, dvi, vga) used by your system when it starts to have a blackscreen failure.  If you are willing to do this, you should be aware that we will keep your system for an extended period, and will compensate you by replacing your setup.

NOW!  Even if you are not willing to send us your system, and would just like to inform us that you have a black-screen issue.  That is okay too. Even if you have already submitted this info in some of our other black-screen threads, feel free to submit it here too.  Please submit the following information into this thread so that we can continue to document all possible instances of it.  Just copy and paste the below list and put in relevant information (completely!).  *NOTE* If you have not already done so, please update your BIOS and Display Driver to the latest version available.  We cannot accept a report of a failing configuration that is not up to date.  Additionally, if you are running your display through a 3rd party device such as a projector or an AV/R (receiver), you need to show that the problem still occurs without the extra device connected (a direct connection from system to display is required).

Any/all information is valuable.

I've got a HP Pavilion dv6 7090el, which runs on a 3rd gen i7 ,8 GB RAM and a nVidia GeForce GT630M and win7 x64.

I've ditched my old desktop pc just a few days ago which had connected my external soundcard to move all my stuff on the laptop because it's way more powerful than my old desktop, only to find out that because of the Intel 4000, the DCP Latency becomes unbearable and i've got continuous audio dropouts which are quite frustrating when you're working with audio and such. Be aware that i'm not using it professionally, that's why i've decided to move everything to the laptop, but it's still darn annoying. Looking for what was causing the huge lag, LatencyMon showed it was something called ACPI.sys and that i had to disable in the DM a Microsoft ACPI battery compliant something. Did it but no change whatsoever, i therefore started to disable everything one by one to find out it's the Intel 4000. I've read around the internet that it's a common issue but i wasn't able to understand if it's a bypassable issue. When i'm home i connect the laptop to an external monitor and if i disable the intel 4000, win switches to the "default graphic mode" or somthing similar, and when connected to the external monitor it still doesn't allow me to reach maximum resolution, but instead stops at the max res achievable on my laptop screen(1366x768). I use no graphics at all so it would be even fine for me to run on the default module if only i could get it to output at a higher res.. cause a 1366x768 on a 1920x768 24" it's just silly.

Is there a way, that even requires hardware modification, to bring out the output of the GPU so i can bypass this damn Optimus/Intel 4000 problem?

Bear in mind that English it's not my first language and that i'm no good at writing a decent report.. just fiddling with knobs and such, so if you need more information, just ask. Thanks!

Is there a chance Intel to release Linux driver for GMA3600 graphic card to use it with some newer Kernel and on 64bit platform? I found only 32bit driver for kernel version 3.1.
