Intel 4703 driver will black out for 1 second whenever video plays

Acer Aspire XC-704

Intel N3700 with 20.19.15.4703 driver

WIndows 10 1703 15063.502

 

Whenever a video is played, the whole screen will turn black (with a visible white arrow cursor) for a second and again turn black when you exit the video.

 

The edge browser (with flash disabled) will start AUTOMATICALLY playing every single HTML5 video within the webpage --- whether the videos are in the main content or the advertisements on the side.

 

So going to websites like cbsnews.com or abcnews.go.com, it will black out 10 times when you scroll down.

 

It happens like this:

 

(1) visit cbsnews.com front page

(2) edge browser auto plays the feature story, the screen blacks out for a second (with white arrow cursor visible).

(3) the screen comes back after a second and you start scrolling down.

(4) when you scroll down enough to not see the feature video anymore, the screen blacks out a 2nd time.

(5) the screen comes back and you start scrolling down.

(6) you scroll down enough to see an ad with a video playing, the screen blacks out a 3rd time.

(7) you scroll down further to pass the ad, the screen blacks out a 4th time.

(8) rinse and repeat for every news item with a video or an ad with a video.

 

The screen will also black out for a second when playing videos full screen in Netflix app or youtube in edge browser (flash disabled).

Display Issue When Sharing Desktop or Taking Screenshots

Hello All,

 

I have a HP EliteBook 840 G3 model number Y3Q56UC#ABA and I'm having a very odd issue with the display. After exhaustive research and troubleshooting I’m coming to these forums in hopes I do not need to reimage my laptop.

 

The issue is as follows. Any time I share my screen (with any program, Skype, WebEx, ect), or try to take a screenshot using any tool (SnagIt, snipping tool, or plain old 'prt scr') my display gets grossly misaligned. I have included a screenshot to show what it looks like.

 

I have tried the following steps:

  • Restarts
  • Driver reinstall
  • Touch screen disable

 

The only clues I have are as follows:

  • Issue only exists on the laptop display (everything works fine in the docking station)
  • Once using Skype, I was able to swipe the screen to the left and get it to move left, but it would not stay there (I thought there was maybe an issue with the touch screen, but as noted above, disabling the touchscreen did nothing)
  • Issue arose immediately after I unplugged a projector from the side display port
  • The screen works perfectly when I’m NOT sharing / taking screenshots

 

This issue is such a pain because I cannot share my screen with anyone when I’m in meetings. If I’m at my desk, it works fine when in the docking station, but whenever I’m just using the built in display, I have this issue.

SGX

I have a Kaby Lake Processor and an ASRock Z270 i7 Gaming motherboard.

 

When trying to play Ultra 4k discs it says: This media cannot be played because the required Intel SGX (SW Guard Extensions) wasn't started. Please re-install the full set of Intel Management Engine (ME) software components. Error code: 21204

 

I downloaded the current version and still did not work. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still did not work.

In the bios I enabled it. My graphics card is onboard graphics. I through the bios under shared memory told it to use 1gb. My system has 32gb.

 

Is there anything I am missing to get this to work/start?

My cd rom drive does read the disc. It's an LG BDXL Blu-ray drive.

I would need it to develop for acer's mixed reallity headset with a surface pro 4 i5 with HD graphics 520.

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio with w10 and HD Graphics 4000 card and have upgraded using the Intel Driver update Utility since I had an issue and could see that there was an exclamation mark in the unit controller. I have now driver 10.18.10.4653 installed but the unit is now stopped (code 45). The laptop is using Microsoft Basic Displaydriver and I fail to get it to use the Intel one. Help please!

Intel Celeron Sandy Bridge with HD Graphics and Windows 10 64 bit

Hello,

 

There is a huge amount of postings on the web forums about discontinued Intel processors using the Intel HD Graphics video card and the most common are the answers that second generation processors, such as the Celeron 867, do not have Support for Windows 10.

 

This is not true. I have a minipc Zotac Zbox Nano ID61, with Intel Celeron 867 processor, HM65 chipset, second generation and with Intel HD Graphics.

 

Yesterday I installed on this machine, Windows 10 64 bit, Pro version and the same is perfect, with the resolution at 1920x1080.

 

When I did the installation, I had the minipc connected on a full hd tv, Sony Bravia W9 and I was able to browse the web, watch videos etc.

 

I realized the problem when I transported the minipc and plugged it into a full hd monitor, 1920x1080. In it, Windows boots, I can access the setup as well, but before displaying the Windows login screen, the monitor screen turns black and the monitor led flashes.

 

Imagining being drivers, I installed for more than 3 hours, several drivers found on the web and on the Intel website, but the problem persists.

 

So, if everything is perfect with the display of the images on a TV, this tells me that it is not about drivers or a lack of processor support for Windows 10, so if it were that way, the perfect image would not be displayed on TV either .

 

With respect to the monitor, is a Samsung P2270 full hd, 1920x1080 at 60Hz.

 

It contains only DVI-I port.

 

I'm using an HDMI / DVI cable.

 

I discard problem on the monitor as I am using the same monitor on another machine with Windows 10 64 bit Pro and everything is perfect.

 

The connection between this perfect machine is a DVI / DVI cable.

 

On the other hand, the connection between the minipc and the monitor is another cable, hdmi / dvi.

 

On tv, the cable used is hdmi / hdmi.

 

Given this picture, any suggestions on what may be happening ??

Nvidia and Intel video card on a laptop, WDDM2.2 support for intel output

Hi, I'm trying to get my HP / Microsoft Mixed Reality Headset setup for mixed reality development.

My laptop (Lenovo Yoga 700) has a somewhat decent video card (Geforce 940M). This card is detected on Mixed Reality as good enough to run, since it has WDDM 2.2 drivers installed. All good.. but my laptop also has an Intel 520 card, which, on the current version (Skylake) only has WDDM 2.1. Now the external hdmi output renders on the Geforce, but goes through the intel card, so even though I have enough power and drivers to run Mixed Reality with the Geforce, the HDMI output does not work (it does not pass the compatibility test screen).

It seems like the only way to make it work would be to have WDDM 2.2 drivers on the Intel 520 video card (Skylake). Is it coming out some time?

I just picked up a new monitor that supports 10-bit color. Does anyone know if the Intel 4600 integrated graphics board supports 10-bit color? Intel support chat was unable to help.

Error with the new update of Windows 10

Hi I recetly update Windows 10 and my video card (Intel HD Graphics 4000) doesn´t work in Agisoft Photoscan software, in the console of it appear the next message Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000: no SPIR support; I think is a problem with the OpenCL, I download the last drivers of mi video card and the last version of Photoscan and the problem continue.

 

I spect you can help me.

I have a Notebook with Intel Core i7 4710 - Intel Graphics 4600 and external Nvidia Gforce GTX 850M for about 2 weeks now. I connect the Notebook on two different places per HDMI with nearly three year old lg monitors. With my old Notebook (Intel Core2Duo and Nvidia Gforce 9500GT) I had not any problems with this two monitors. However when I connect one of the two monitors with my new Notebook I get eye strain and headache. Of course I use the right resolution FullHD and tried out different brigthness and contrast adjustments in intel graphic properties. OS is Windows 7 Prof x64  and the newest drivers are installed. Version:15.33.22.64.3621
Nearly two months ago I purchased an other Notebook with Intel Core i7 4700MQ - Intel Graphics 4600 and Nvidia Gforce GT755 M. I had the same problem there and so I sent it back, because I thought that the Notebook has an defect. I tried out Windows 7 and Windows 8 and had the same eye problems in the two different OS.
Now I do not really know what the problem exactly is, because I have these problems with two different Notebooks on two different external LG Monitors and the integrated Displays of the Notebooks. But I thinkt the problem is the Intel HD 4600. Maybe that there is something wrong with the driver.
Do you have any ideas about this? Couse  I can't purchase and send back new Notebooks all the time.

Intel hd 630 multiple collage issues

I have an LG31MU97-B true 4k display monitor.The monitor cannot be connected via display port 1.2 mode for driving in 4k mode as there is no display due to bug in intel graphics driver  which was reported by me in an earlier thread on which intel and LG is currently working(internal bug ID (1405539394)).Now for driving the display in 4K mode i connected one dispaly port and one hdmi input to my monitor and enabled PBP mode in my monitor where it accepts 2 inputs.I selected multiple collage mode in intel hd graphics and started driving the monitor in 4k mode(2K*2K) @ 60hz..It is working fine but i noticed the following issue.

 

1)When i switch off and switch on the monitor either the display goes to extended display mode or single display mode( only one half of screen is displayed).Again i have to re-enable collage mode via intel hd graphics to make it working

 

2)On web browsing on scrolling pages faster sometimes i'am noticing a break in middle.

 

3)Can i drive the display in 4K 10 bit mode via this setup as my monitor is 10 bit capable.

 

The performance otherwise is fine including video playback.Can these issues be fixed

Problem with graphics card driver. need help

I have the Hp Pavilion 15-N261NR notebook. The laptop currently has the Intel HD Graphic 4400 card and the Intel HD graphics family driver (version 10.18.15.4278) from 8/17/2015. I have also upgraded from windows 8 to windows 10. Now here is my problem. i started playing a game i know my computer can handle and the game display keeps freezing. This game also says my Graphics driver is 732 days old. i went into the device manager and tried to update the drivers there. The computer said the drivers were up to date but the game still says my driver is old. So i did research and found that for 4400 card on windows 10 i should be running the intel graphics driver [15.40] (version 15.40.36.4703). So using the intel driver update utility program i scanned and downloaded the 15.40 driver and when i try to install the driver i get an error stating "the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer." Im not the best with computers but is the current version 10.18.15.4278 correct? and if i need the 15.40 driver how can i get around this error im having. any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Right Side Of Screen Missing in Older Games?

Hi, I'm having an issue with games from 2000 era in Windows 10. I have an Intel Atom z3735f processor, I have updated the drivers, tried all the different compatibility options for the games, tried out different options in the intel graphics panel. Hoping someone here can offer me a solution.

why intel® g41 express chipset doesn't support a linux version

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

 

Memory: 4 GB

Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5700 @ 3.00GHz × 2

Graphics: Intel® G41 OpenGL string: 2.1 Mesa 12.0.6 OS type: 64-bit

my first os i had in my computer was window and i was downloading intel® g41 express chipset graphics driver to run games, but when i moved to linux i found a lot ofprblems in games that's made with unity and started a discussion in unity community and i found that's the problem is in my graphics card drivers and i searched for it in google and opened the site to download it.

but........... the problem is there's no version for linux, look at this pictures :

Cannot install Intel graphic driver for Intel core i5 430M on Windows 10

I have an old laptop which equipped with Intel core i5 430M processor and Nvidia GeForce 310M graphic processor. Currently running the latest windows 10 OS but i cannot install the Intel graphic driver for integrated graphic unit to make the it able to function and now my laptop is running Nvidia GPU as its display adapter. Previously, it is working good in windows 7. Anyone have the solution for it?

Are there any Performance Counters for Intel(R) HD Graphics 530
I am a software developer in test automation. I want to measure how the Video Card fares when running a large scale test on a program with hardware acceleration

 

Are there any performance counters provided about it?
Are there any other ways to measure the GPU Load & Memory Usage?

False multiple monitors with intel drivers

I have an Asus UX501J that use Intel HD Graphics 4600. Usually I connect 2 extra monitors. Today I came back to my computer and all displays was in chaos. My main screen was in 4K duplicated with some other screen that do not exist. In total my driver is telling me I have 7 monitors. See my screen dump. No use to update the driver. This is the latest. 2017-01-26 (2).png
