Intel iGpu + Windows 10 CU + Magnifier issue

$

Hello,

I'm having issues with my 630 igpu (i5 7500) with any graphics driver version + Windows 10 Creators Update (all Windows updates installed). When using the Windows Magnifier + inverted colors in browsers with hardware acceleration (eg. Chrome and Opera), Microsoft Word 2016 etc., moving the mouse pointer to the Windows taskbar (and randomly in other areas) temporarily disables color inversion. I've managed to "fix" it by disabling hardware acceleration in those browsers, but I believe it's worth investigating as to why this happens.

A similar issue also affects the Windows Media Player (see pic) - when the mouse cursor is over the video, only a certain part has inverted colors, and not the rest.

Can anyone please check if this can be reproduced?

This does not happen on my other PC with Windows 10 CU that has a discrete nVidia graphics card.

Thanks,

D

Bad HW acceleration in internet browsers Intel i7 6700HQ - W7 PRO x64bit

Hello,

I have laptop MSI GP62 6QF with Core i7 6700HQ, Nvidia GTX960M on WIndows 7 PRO x64bit and I have problems with HW acceleration in internet browsers (Firefox, hightly in Palemoon, Cyberfox, ... ) .

For example in Palemoon I can't play Youtube videos smoothly in 60 FPS and browser is stuttering. After start laptop and system Palemoon stuttering for 2-3 minutes (on Youtube in fullscreen - sometimes blinking black screen) .

And in Firefox or other Gecko browsers after while I have black screen in browser and I must restart it ( I don't know if I still have this problem, because today I updated Intel driver on the newer actual version 15.45.21.4821 ) .

So my question is:

Is the stuttering problem in Palemoon do bad Intel driver or Palemoon is not fully compatible with this CPU? I wrote on Palemoon forum, but nobody have this problem with stuttering or not smooth 60 FPS fHD videos. They told me, that are some problems with GPU in this CPU (HD530) .

60 FPS fHD youtube videos in Firefox, Chrome, Opera works smooth, but not in Palemoon.

Thank you in advance.

I would like to fix mainly the Palemoon, because this is my default and favourite browser.

Lag on right click on desktop, opening Control Panel, HD 630

Hi! I would like to report a problem with HD 630 and it's driver. Recently I purchased Lenovo Legion Y720 (80VR00H9LT). I started with fresh Windows 10 Home installation. For first time I installed latest Intel driver for HD 630 from Intel.com. But after driver installation and OS restart, I started to experience annoying lags. Not only "timeouts" on right click on desktop, opening Control Panel or apps for first time, but also freezes for every 10 seconds just doing anything - moving cursor around desktop for example. Then I just uninstalled this driver and installed driver from Lenovo.com for my laptop model. Same issues. After that I uninstalled driver from Lenovo.com and installed driver from Windows Update. Freezes was gone, but some lags remained. With no driver (Microsoft Basic graphics driver) or when I run some game (GeForce driver running for that time) issues is not present. Below video I recorded recently.

HD 4400 latest driver issue-Fall Creator's Update

Hello everyone

I have noticed that the latest Intel HD Graphics 4400 drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 Build 1709. In games such as GTA San Andreas, COD:MW and others, the screen starts flickering violently if the VSync is OFF or FPS Limiter is off. As soon as you enable FPS Limiter or Vsync, the flickering is gone. Also, when the game bar pops up, the flickering is gone. No flickering is noticed during recording with WIndows DVR. I hope that this problem will be resolved soon with an updated driver version from Intel. I've tried re-installing WIndows 10 Fall Creator's Update from scratch but the problem still persists.

Thanks

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - failed to launch

Hello Intel community

I've got some problems regarding Vulkan support in newest drivers (.4815, but I assume it will occur in older too).
Console window said that there is some features missing in Vulkan support and Wolfenstein could not be launched at all.

Is this related to game itself (no Intel GPU support due to low performance, or missing support ATM) or Intel missed something regarding vulkan compatibility?
Or maybe game is looking for something that is not missed by Intel but just unsupported by graphic (due to software or hardware limits).

It would be nice to know what is going on, because as far I remembered I've got no troubles with newest Doom after all.
Both games are using same engine.
Even The Evil Within 2 which is using reworked engine of Doom 2016 running fine (I assume it's pure OpenGL 4.x game).

I'm looking for answer or maybe workaround to launch this game.
It would be nice to hear that Intel already working on launch driver for this game

Hello. Today I reinstalled my Lenovo Y720 (HD 630 + GTX 1060) now it's running Windows 10 1709. Windows installed Intel Graphics Driver version 15.46 through Windows Update but I decided to install the newer version (15.47) but somehow with 15.47 my laptop becomes slow and there's GPU spike in task manager (Screenshot (1)) and then I decided to roll back the driver, and everything goes back to normal (Screenshot (2)). Any suggestion? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

HD610 resolution stuck to HD

I have a problem with the HD610 display...

I'm using a Nec PA271W display, whose native resolution is 2560 x 1440, with Display Port and Dual-Link DVI inputs.

The motherboard I'm using is an Asrock Z270 Pro 4, with DVI & HDMI outputs, that hosts a Pentium G4560T (HD Graphics 610).

I can't use the DVI output, which is limited to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz.

Therefore, I use the HDMI output, which can display 4096 x 2160 @ 24Hz and 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz.

To do so, I use a HDMI/DVI adaptor which is 4K compatible.

In the graphic settings, I could indeed set 2560 x 1440 @ 33 Hz as a customized resolution. An error occurs with further frequencies. Still, I don't know how to apply this 33Hz setting ; it just appears listed as a customized resolution, that can't be chosen...

Thanks for your help!

Can’t find the name of Intel ICD OpenGL driver after upgrading driver

Hello,

After upgrading the graphic driver (win64_154521.4821) of my industrial PC (i5-6440EQ Win7 64bit pro) with the latest driver I get the following error:

Dual display: How to keep my windows open at their original location?

$

Hi, here is my configuration:

- Intel HD Graphics 620

- Driver version 22.20.16.4815 (latest)

- 2 x UHD Samsung monitors (primary DisplayPort, secondary HDMI)

- Win10 pro 64bit 10.0.16299 (latest)

If I decide to switch OFF my 2 monitors when I'm away from my computer while it is running (happens quite often),

and then, switch them ON again when I'm back, then all the windows that were open on my secondary monitor

are moved to my primary monitor   Everytime, I need to adjust/move them back to my secondary monitor display,

one by one. This is really tiresome

The issue is most likely with the Intel graphics driver. Whenever a single monitor is switched OFF from a

multimonitor setup, Windows will apparently attempt to move everything from that screen onto the remaining screens.

It is because the driver seems to 'disconnect' the monitor, so when it is switched OFF or ON again, Windows must

re-determine where to place everything and rearrange the windows.

How can I prevent this and keep my windows open where they were initially opened?

Thanks!

Collage Mode is unavailable when using laptop's screen+a monitor

I've ensured my driver up-to-date already.

When I connect 2 outside screens to my laptop,I can find the 'Collage' in the Intel control panel

But in this case,I can only combine the 2 outside monitors, exclude my laptop's inside monitor

Still, this does not work when I use my laptop's monitor+an outside one(only 3 multi-screen modes can be found)

So,it seems that the monitor inside my laptop can't be used or recognized by the collage mode???? but can be used as extensions?

What's the problem then?

I truly want to make a triple monitor gaming, but you know, unable to use my laptop's inside monitor

(My nvidia gpu(MX150) is unable to manage the multi-screen,so I have to go through the Intel G panel)

If that's the driver's issue, can it be improved?

Intel UHD Graphics 630 many issues

I built a new system together. Based on the new Intel Coffe Lake CPU Core i7 8700, with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. And the ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-H Gaming Mainboard with newest Bios Version.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is up to date. Also, the official Intel driver for the iGPU is installed (15.47.02.4815).

However, many Software is not working properly at all. Like Example Cyberlinks Power Director 15+16 versions (on the current patch stand).

The preview in the timeline hangs constantly, and the image flickers constantly, or momentarily the Display goes completly black for a few seconds, and the software is not operable. Timeline playback stops or programs hang.

Furthermore, creating a BD disc is not possible because an error code is constantly being output. There are different error codes, including "eC0030106".

Before this - with the iGPU Intel HD Graphics 530 - everything ran smoothly.

Cyberlinks PowerDVD 17 (up to date) playback don't look smooth anymore, too.

Other Software which use the iGPU in Hardware didn't run well anymore. It looks like the iGPU Rendering doesn't work anymore.

All my Video Rendering Software like TMPENC didn't run with the Hardware Encoding of the iGPU (Intel UHD Graphics 630) anymore.

I have reinstalled Windows completly new, but nothing changes.

Is there anything changes in the driver ?!

When I use the Nvidia GTX1060 graphics card, there are no such problems at all.

I did not have any problems with all iGPU's before that, which is currently with the Intel UHD 630. The system runs very stable otherwise, even a test with Prime 95 did not cause any problems. Only when the iGPU becomes active, nothing works properly, as it should.

Which eGPU solution recommanded for NUC6I7KYK ?

Hello,

I have a Intel NUC Core i7 Skull Canyon NUC6I7KYK / RAID 0 mSATA (2x512Go) / 32GB DDR4 / Windows 10 64Bits that works great but limited when it comes to run fluently recent video games.

I've seen that, using eGPU via TBT3 interface, you can have a great solution.

I've seen Razor, Akitio among eGPU solutions. But I would like to know which one is stable / fully tested (bug free).

Any feedbacks would be welcome.

Thanks in advance
