Not able to update Intel HD4600 graphics drivers

$

Hi,

I bought Netgear Push2TV PTV3000 adapter and connected to Samsung Smart 3D TV 7 series. I have Asus N550JV laptop Windows 8.1 64-bit with i7 processor 4600 HD Graphics with WIDI. When i start Widi by going to "Devices>project>add wireless display>enter code displayed on TV",

after entering the code laptop keeps on searching for few seconds then i get following error "Something went wrong your display could not

connect" Thinking there might be problem with graphics or widi drivers i reinstalled graphics and widi but it dint help. Then I used the

Intel update driver utility to check the latest Intel graphics drivers and i got the result after scanning as shown below

Graphics Driver  (Newer Driver Available)
Product Detected  Intel® HD Graphics 4600
Current Driver Installed  10.18.10.3308
Newer Driver Available:  15.33.8.64.3345 (10.18.10.3345)
Download Now
File Size:  138 MB

After downloading when i try to install the latest graphics drivers "15.33.8.64.3345" it says "The driver being installed is not validated

for this computer, please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer". I have installed/re-installed widi remote verion

1.0.0.0 recommended for Windows 8.1 and old graphics drivers 10.18.10.3308 many times but nothing is working at the end same errors. It is

strange that I can detect and connect to my Netgear PTV3000 adapter from the charm menu and the connection with the PIN code is also

successful. Then i get error "Something went wrong your display could not connect" when i went to ASUS support website there i can see

ASUS N550JV supports only graphics drivers version 10.18.10.3308 which is installed now may be therefore new versions of graphics drivers

are not working.

What is the solution? I have attached a pic showing errors and Laptop specification. Can any one please help me.

Intel HD 4000 HDMI - No Signal problem

$

Hello,

First of all, my configuration is:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H

CPU: Intel i7 3770K

RAM: 2x4GB Kingston XMP Predator

GPU: Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 670

OS: Windows 8 Pro x64

I connect my 24" monitor to my external GPU via HDMI to HDMI and my Samsung TV to internal Intel HD4000 Graphics via HDMI to HDMI and for more than half year there was no problem and everything was great.

For over a month to the TV it shows "No signal" but the PC recognize the TV and it says that there is no problem. Still there is no picture to the TV.

The problem occurred suddenly without any installation of new software, drivers etc. First I thought it may be from the cable, but when I plug it to the external GPU the TV works. Then I find out that there is an issue with sleeping and wake up to the PC but I disable/enable the device and still no luck. I installed the newest drivers from the Intel web site with no luck at all. Now I installed again the older VGA drivers from Gigabyte site and still have this issue.

Please help because I am out of any ideas.

The bottom line:

PC recognize the TV, “No signal” displayed on TV, TV works when plugged on external GPU HDMI port.

PS: Recently I bought a DP to HDMI cable and the HD4000 don’t recognize it. It is connected to the TV through that cable but the TV works and have a signal when it is connected to the DP port of the external GPU.

I attached links to the DXDiag and the Intel control panel report in the .txt files based on last known working configuration (Monitor to external GPU HDMI-HDMI), TV to internal Intel HD4000 (HDMI-HDMI).

The last I’ve try is DVI to HDMI and there is a signal from HD4000 to TV. What would be the probable reason for stopped working HDMI port (except the cable – tried with 3 different cables) and not working DP port with DP to HDMI cable?

Stubborn Video Driver. Help!

I hadto re install windows XP anew and that was the genesis of the problem as drivers were lost. I successfully downloaded most of the drivers for my PC model by inserting my service tag on dell support but none of the video drivers listed was able to be downloaded. I keep getting this error message?    This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software

What is the correct video driver needed? HELP! HELP!

I need to get my graphic display working again.

I have assembled a pc with the following components:

  • Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I73770

  • Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD5000HHTZ 500GB 10000 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive - OEM

I am at the point where I want to power up the PC build so I can adjust the BIOS settings to have a USB memory stick as the 1st boot option.  On power up, I hear 3 quick beeps (that is not on the error code list in the motherboard manual) and so it sits with the fans running.  It appears the monitor is not getting a signal through the HDMI connection.  Yes the monitor works, however, this is the 1st time trying to use it with a HDMI connection.

A review of the X9SAE-V mother board Quick Reference Guide has a footnote indicating the model number of the CPU must end in a 5 and uses Model E3-1205 as an example. Looking at the specifications on the box, I see no mention of a model  # anywhere.

Am I correct to assume this CPU has a built in graphics core or is this a symptom of the 'black screen' syndrome?  Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.  I also have a question on the SuperMicro site outlining my issue.

Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered

Hi. I know this question has been asked many times, but many are unanswered. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, Window 7 64 bit. Just yesterday, my laptop kept blacking out, freezes and then unfreeze and this message would pop up saying, "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows XP(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered." It keeps happening around every 15-30 minutes. Sometimes, it totally blacks out. Other times, it unfreeze but the windows are blank. Someone please help me. The display adapter I have is Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family." Some people said online to update it and that might fix the problem. I went to the Intel website and updated the lastest one given, but the problem is still here. I've restored my laptop to a certain restore point, but still did not solve the problem. Suggestions and ideas? Thank you a head of time.

Intel Iris has 32 MB dedicated video memory... How to fix that?

Hello!

I have a late 2013 Macbook Pro retina with 8 GB of RAM and Iris graphics card.

I am having a problem in WIndows 8 64 bit (I'm using bootcamp 5). It seems as the Windows 8 doesn't work properly with the Iris graphics card. Under display adapter information it shows only 32 MB of dedicated video memory. And I only want windows on my mac because of occasional video games. No games run with 32 MB of video memory. And it seems that windows drivers are correct because it recognises the Iris 5100 graphics card...

I tried reinstalling bootcamp drivers and went to Intel's website for newer versions of Iris drivers but nothing helped. Is there a way to allocate more memory to the graphics card or some other solution?

I would really appreciate help on this.

Another HDMI audio/video sync issue - Win Media Center & x.1 configs

All:

Reporting this as a clue to help track down the driver issues others are seeing that are making HTPC use nearly impossible.  I'm building a new NUC 54250WYK with HD Graphics 5000 (replacing an older i3 NUC so my existing AVR/Projector should be deemed working fine).

I've observed three issues

1.  In Windows Media Center trying to tune to a HD Homerun Prime channel.  Any Speaker configuration other than 2.0 causes WMC to fail with a video error - and I get a curious 1 second audio loop for the few seconds it takes wmc to get the error.  I've tried 7.1 and the 5.1s with the same result.  WMC works rock solid at 2.0.

2.  In Powerdvd 13 I am trying to use 'non-decoded high definition audio' to bitstream a high def audio disc.  This results in complete instability in both the player (hangs) and also in the amplifier - my amp will stop accepting IR commands and I have monitored the amp 'hunting' for the signal format on a status page (denon 4311ci).  The workaround is to not use this particular audio track - I'm really looking forward to a fix!  If you need any additional info please send a message.

3.  Channel Mapping in all configurations to my Denon is wrong (stereo, 3.1,5.1,7.1...) - several have no center channel output, lfe is routed to left rear and even stereo has left and right swapped.  Workaround is to reboot and ensure the amp is on after windows comes up  - seems to improve this.

This is a new build of 8.1 I just started yesterday so there's not a lot of junk from the past in it.

I've also tested my old NUC - it does not have any of these problems in the same situation.

HD Graphics 2500 does not recognize the speakers of the TV

Hi everybody
I want to receive the advice to the problem

I have a DELL Optiplex 9010 Intel(R) HD Graphics 2500 and Windows 7 64bit SP1.
Via a Displayport to HDMI adapter from the PC, and are connected to the TV with speakers.

in this state, Windows7 does not detect speakers

Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Manage audio devices - Sound Playback
TV's speaker does not appear.
Therefore, I have not been able to output sound from the TV

However, when I started in Ubuntu 12.10 Live DVD this PC, I'm be able to output the sound.
And I have a another PC, DELL Latitude E5520 Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000 and Windows7 64bit SP1.
This PC has an HDMI terminal, I have been able to output sound to the TV in this PC

Optiplex 9010 and Latitude E5520, Raw EDID data is visible the same value in Intel(R) Graphics / Media Control Panel.

In fact, HDMI cable length is long.....
HDMI cables are (1)10m + (2)5m + (3)3m, using HDMI to HDMI adapter

When I replace the 3m to 10m cable (1), Optiplex 9010 Windows7 64bit SP1 recognize speakers and I'm be able to output the sound.

- cable may be too long ?
- Intel driver problem ?
-- Difference of Intel drivers for Windows and Ubuntu ?
- Problem of Windows 7 ?
- PC is reading EDID that supports audio, Windows 7 does not recognize Why ?

Thanks everyone

Intel now has the time to private message me and delete my threads and beg me to not go public with my issues. Yet they instead of deleting another thread why not try actually investigate and fix the underlying issue instead of wasting everyones time. 6 months I have been waiting and at this point it seems ill be waiting another 6 months for a reply.

They say pictures speak a thousand words, I wonder if that will be enough for one competent Intel to recognise this is a valid bug. I don't think the problem can be any more obvious in this next picture, but then again Intels support team has a great track record at being oblivious to the outside world....

Official Black-screen thread - We need your help!

Hello Graphics Communities!

For a very long time now we've been trying to track down, diagnose, and correct an issue that seems to be happening all across the board with Intel® Graphics.  Users, for various reasons - seem to have issues with OEM systems (and Intel® NUC's) losing their display for different events.

  • Installing new drivers
  • Rebooting
  • Computers idling, going into sleep or hibernation
  • Other random events

We have run into a stumbling block in fixing this issue, and that is that we are unable to reproduce the symptoms above.  We have ordered exact-matching systems, displays and cables - and matched our configurations to those of the users having problems, and we are completely unable to reproduce the problem.  The issue is complex, but in this particular case - it stems from the fact that two users with the same configuration are not guaranteed to have the problem, it varies from user to user, system to system, display to display.

What we at Intel® are asking now though is 2-fold.  If you are one of these users (or a business) experiencing a consistent black-screening issue as mentioned above, we would like to procure your COMPLETE system configuration.  This means, we want you to ship us (at our expense) - the System (desktop or laptop), display (TV, monitor) AND the cable (hdmi, dp, dvi, vga) used by your system when it starts to have a blackscreen failure.  If you are willing to do this, you should be aware that we will keep your system for an extended period, and will compensate you by replacing your setup.

NOW!  Even if you are not willing to send us your system, and would just like to inform us that you have a black-screen issue.  That is okay too. Even if you have already submitted this info in some of our other black-screen threads, feel free to submit it here too.  Please submit the following information into this thread so that we can continue to document all possible instances of it.  Just copy and paste the below list and put in relevant information (completely!).  *NOTE* If you have not already done so, please update your BIOS and Display Driver to the latest version available.  We cannot accept a report of a failing configuration that is not up to date.  Additionally, if you are running your display through a 3rd party device such as a projector or an AV/R (receiver), you need to show that the problem still occurs without the extra device connected (a direct connection from system to display is required).

Are you willing to send your system to us? (Yes/No)
Is your system a laptop or desktop?
If desktop, is it custom built, or manufactured?
If desktop, what is the make/model of your motherboard?
What is the make/model of your system? (COMPLETE model name required)
What is the model of your CPU?
What is the make/model of your failing display(s)?
If laptop, is your built-in display failing? (Yes/No)
What is your operating system?
Is it a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system?
What display driver version do you have installed?
What type of connection are you using? (HDMI, VGA, DP, DVI?)
What happens that results in the blackscreen failure?

Any/all information is valuable.

Thank you for your information & cooperation!

GMA 3650 aka. PowerVR sgx545 and Linux

$

Hello,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems there is absolutely no support for Intel GMA 3650 chipsets on Linux ?

There's a lot of similarities with the GMA500 case, a few years ago for which there is still only very poor

drivers under Linux. The GMA500 was also a chipset from PowerVR painted with Intel colors.

Will it be the same fiasco with this GMA series ?

Or maybe I missed something ?

By the way, I tryed to ask the developpers of PowerVR drivers and they told me to ask Intel support.

[BUG] Civilization V textures

Bought Civ V a few days ago, only to find that DirectX 10/11 mode is pretty much broken for me, even with all the correct software installed and enabled. Doing a bit of research, I found that this has been a problem with Intel's graphics drivers since Q1 of last year... and it still hasn't been fixed.

Come on, Intel. It was working just fine before that new driver came out back in Q1 of 2013. Why hasn't this been fixed yet? I know Civ V isn't "visibly smart software," but this is ridiculous. I can run the game on medium gfx settings easily, but the textures for terrain all look like cheap plastic. Are you guys still working on this? If so, when can I expect a fix?

EDIT: Some sources also reporting this bug (this is not a freak happening):

Intel HD 5000 : glEnableVertexAttribArrayARB via GLEW does not work

$
0
0

I've just moved to the new Mac Air with HD 5000, and found the code I am developing in C++/OpenGL no longer renders normal mapped 3D geometry using pixel shaders.

It makes use of glEnableVertexAttribArrayARB to supply a tangent to the pixel shader pipeline. This process works perfectly well on nVidia and ATI graphic cards, and still works (as is) on my old Mac Air with nVidia 320M

The result is the model geometry is rendering as a corrupted model, in a spherical arrangement with a radius of 1.0

I can achieve the same results on the nVidia / ATI cards by using the same pixel shader, but by failing to provide the tangent data it expects - this results in the same corruption when rendering.

So - it seems on HD 5000, the driver is not honouring GLEW's glEnableVertexAttribArrayARB extension. Has it been remapped for the HD5000, or is there another way to bind to this functionality?

Note. I am not using OpenGL 4.0 - my code needs to support OpenGL 2.1, and has worked flawlessly so far on many other devices and GPU's. no

Thanks in advance!

My Intel HD Graphics will only run at 1600 x 1200 on my 2560 x 1600 monitor

Hello Folks,

I recently was helped out to get my Intel HD Graphics working, as I was unable to install the Graphics Driver.

After that issue was resolved, I noticed a similar problem I had when I tried to use the IGP(HD4000) on my i5 3570K CPU.

In that instance, the highest resolution offered to me in Graphical Properties was 1600 x 1200, when my Dell U3011 Monitor's default resolution was 2560 x 1600.

At the time I didn't worry about it as I was using a Discrete Video Card anyway and thought that issue would be resolved in future products.

Now I have purchased a Haswell based Pentium, the G3220, with HD Graphics and I notice the same problem again.

So is the issue some kind of incompatibility with Dell's U3011 and Intel's HD Graphics?

My system appears to recognise the monitor properly, as it reports it as a Dell U3011.

Any idea on how I can get my HD Graphics to work at 2560 x 1600 with this monitor?

Cheers

Intel HD 4000 HDMI - No Signal problem
