How to " reset "  HD Graphics 3000

Hello,

at my HTPC with HD Graphics 3000 I 've been experimenting with the timings to connect it to a Samsung TV via HDMI. Unfortunately, I probably pressed once the wrong button , so he has a non- executable setting stored. So the picture is now black over HDMI and the Samsung announces an unsupported resolution :-(

Experimented I have because the resolution did not fit . The Resulution from the HD3000 was not 1920x1080 which is nativ by the Samsung TV but 1920x1200 . Ergo the taskbar is not present and the image blurred because scalings .

The television is c onnected now via VGA, so I can continue to operate the HTPC to the TV.

But also even here he is not running sometimes with native 1920x1080 but 1920x1200 . I found out later that this is comming fron the PC. When the TV is turned ON after the HTPC , always runs at 1920x1200. The driver does not notice the settings . Switched On the TV at first and then the HTPC , it has native 1920x1080 and a very good resolution.

This could also be the same problem at the HDMI output . Unfortunately, it is even now dead

Does anyone have an idea whether to reset the wrong configuration and the automatic detection also comes back at the digital output ? I do not find anything for it ...

An update does not help. He remembers the settings. The latest driver is on it ...

Windows 8.1, HD 4600, Audio not showing full HD Capabilities

I have an Asrock Z87 Extreme6 running a 4670K and Windows 8.1 Pro.

My AV receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR626 and is DTS-HD capable, connected via HDMI.  However Windows only shows DD, DTS and DD+.

I have the latest intel graphics and sound driver from the Intel website (10.18.10.3379 / 6.16.0000.3129 ) as detailed in the attached dxdiag.

The daisy chained monitor connected to the Onkyo is turned off to avoid confusion, and the 2nd monitor has its sound separated and disabled.

Moninfo shows the realtime EDID from the Onkyo to contain its accurate status of managing the formats:

Any help regarding why this is occurring would be appreciated.

Windows 8.1 Media Center Goes Blank in Full Screen (HD2000)

Hi,

I have an HTPC that I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Media Center. Everything was fine with Windows 7 but, in Windows 8.1, Media Center goes blank when it's put on full screen mode. I have upgraded the graphics driver to the most recent one version 152820 (as of Feb 2014) and it doesn't solve the problem. The only way to get out of the blank screen is to force reset the computer. My processor is i5-2400 with HD2000 integrated graphics. The motherboard is Asus P8H67M-EVO and I use HDMI output.

I tested Netflix fullscreen, DVD player fullscreen, Flash fullscreen playbacks and they are all fine. It's only Media Center. Media Center works fine when it is not full screen.

Also, once in a while the screen would go blank too and my LG HDTV cannot detect any input signal. This occurrence seems to be random. I can log in to the computer via Remote Desktop from another computer and it would come back on after a restart. But this problem is intermittent, whereas the Media Center fullscreen problem is persistent.

Any known solution for this?

Thanks.

Another HDMI audio/video sync issue - Win Media Center & x.1 configs

All:

Reporting this as a clue to help track down the driver issues others are seeing that are making HTPC use nearly impossible.  I'm building a new NUC 54250WYK with HD Graphics 5000 (replacing an older i3 NUC so my existing AVR/Projector should be deemed working fine).

I've observed three issues

1.  In Windows Media Center trying to tune to a HD Homerun Prime channel.  Any Speaker configuration other than 2.0 causes WMC to fail with a video error - and I get a curious 1 second audio loop for the few seconds it takes wmc to get the error.  I've tried 7.1 and the 5.1s with the same result.  WMC works rock solid at 2.0.

2.  In Powerdvd 13 I am trying to use 'non-decoded high definition audio' to bitstream a high def audio disc.  This results in complete instability in both the player (hangs) and also in the amplifier - my amp will stop accepting IR commands and I have monitored the amp 'hunting' for the signal format on a status page (denon 4311ci).  The workaround is to not use this particular audio track - I'm really looking forward to a fix!  If you need any additional info please send a message.

3.  Channel Mapping in all configurations to my Denon is wrong (stereo, 3.1,5.1,7.1...) - several have no center channel output, lfe is routed to left rear and even stereo has left and right swapped.  Workaround is to reboot and ensure the amp is on after windows comes up  - seems to improve this.

This is a new build of 8.1 I just started yesterday so there's not a lot of junk from the past in it.

I've also tested my old NUC - it does not have any of these problems in the same situation.

Problems with graphical driver (Intel HD) installation for new Celeron G1820

I have some severe troubles with installation of the graphical card driver for new Celeron G1820 (Haswell).

Windows 7 Ultimate-64bit SP1, chipset H87, motherboard Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H

When I'm trying to setup the driver from the disk, or download the driver from intel site, I encounter the same problem, "The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" - screenshot Driver2.png

When I'm trying to add .inf file through Controp Panel ->..->..->Update driver->Have Disk - I see the "The driver selected for this device does not support this version of Windows" - screenshot Driver1.png

Please help me to choose the correct driver in order to use HD graphics and not standard VGA Controller.

Driver I have found on the intel site:

  Production Version Releases

Problem with HD 3000 with dual-display (monitor/TV) when changing TV input

I'm using a Dell 24'' monitor as primary display (connected via DVI) and a 42'' TV as secondary display (connected via HDMI), both support 1920x1080. I want to use clone view and everything is basically set up fine, the screen is on both displays as it should.

However, if I change the input of the TV away from the HDMI, for example to watch TV instead of the PC video, the primary monitor starts flickering (every 5 seconds the screen goes black for about 1-2 seconds). It is as if the graphic driver notices the "lost" signal and is trying to relocate it. If it did once or twice it would be OK, but it doesn't stop until I switch back to the HDMI input, turn off the TV or disable the secondary display from the display settings.

I never had this problem with my old PC (also Win7, same cables and devices) using a discrete graphics card (ATI), so I think it's a driver problem of the integrated GPU. The same problem occurs when using extended mode or switching primary and secondary displays.

Windows* 7/8/8.1 Driver (32 & 64 bit) Version 3345

Greetings everyone!

We have officially launched our latest driver supporting 3rd and 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD/Iris™ Graphics for Microsoft* Windows 7, 8, & 8.1.  The version is 3345 and is available at the following locations.

32-bit:  Download Center - Release notes here.

64-bit:  Download Center - Release notes here.

Also; Windows* 8/8.1 Graphics FAQ.

Please provide only constructive feedback here.  Harassing comments, needless insults and personal attacks are not permitted, and will be promptly deleted.

If there are issues that carried over from previous drivers that you are still experiencing, feel free to announce them again here.  However, we are all mostly aware of some of these, so I will list them here;

NEW: The driver reports that you have support for DX11.2.  This is incorrect, you have support for DX11.1.

CURRENT:

  • Users with 3rd party cards installed alongside Intel graphics are experiencing various degrees of Code 31 and Code 43 issues.  These are being actively investigated, and we are working with 3rd party vendors to resolve them.  The latest we are aware of is that AMD* drivers are force-unloading our drivers, resulting in various issues such as loss of multiple-displays, brightness controls, etc.
  • Users with only Intel graphics are experiencing various degrees of Code 31 and Code 43 issues.  These are being actively investigated, and we are working with Microsoft* to resolve them.
  • Users are having Display Audio failures either over an AV/R, or via a straight through connection to their audio enabled display.  For starters, you need to uninstall the 3316 or later driver from your system, and install the one we provide via the Intel Download Center links posted above.  When you receive a graphics driver automatically via Windows* Update, it does not include the Display Audio driver that is supposed to be packaged with it.  This can result in unstable audio errors.

if I have missed any, it is not because we are not aware of them!  However, please feel free to remind me of them regardless.

If you are having trouble with installing the driver, it can be for various reasons.  Most commonly, it is because your system currently has a driver that was installed by your OEM, and those drivers present various error messages to the effect of "this driver is not suitable for your computer because your OEM said so!".  If that is the case, you should follow the Manual Driver Installation instructions to install your driver (this is prefaced by downloading the .ZIP version of the driver from the links above).

I ask that you preface the feedback with aboldedheading so that it will be easier to identify, example: Control Panel: It would be cool if X was added.  BUG: This application is now crashing and it didn't with the last driver!

I also ask that you keep focused on this specific driver.  Any off-topic/off-driver/off-product comments will be promptly deleted!  If you have any issues with installing the driver, or are unable to get to the driver download pages linked above, please submit those comments in an original thread. Also, please do not message me directly about issues with the driver, keep them in this thread - I will check it daily.

Thank you for your feedback and contributions!

HD4000 Screen flicker after cold boot

Greetings everyone!

My system configuration is as follows:

core i5-3570k, using hd400 igp

intel dh77kc motherboard

kingston 4GB  DDR3 RAM Module (1 stick)

Win7 32 bit

Graphic  Driver: Intel Version 8.15.10.2639

Monitor: LG, Resolution 1900x1200, DVI Cable

A few days ago I switched to the new motherboard above and refreshed the whole software installation.

From now on,  when the system is booted from cold, there is a reproducible screen flickering for the first 5 Minutes after  boot.

The screen flickers every 2-5 seconds and gets black for a second.

My previous board (Gigabyte z77ds3h) didn't have that issue.

Rebooting a "warm" system does not show that issue.

I've read in another thread here, that a similar problem was solved by switching to another driver version.  As far as I know, I'm already using the newest driver.

Can anybody help?

Driver Update Seems to have Corrupted a Registry

I recently had a recommended update to Intel® Iris™ and HD graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1* 64 bit version 15.33.8.64.3345 (10.18.10.3345).

Upon the reset, I got stuck in a loop of the compute trying to solve a problem, which it later determined it can not identify. After about an hour of begging, I managed to get my computer to run by disabling the driver signature enforcement. At this point, it seems to run perfectly fine. But it does not reset normally. I need to go through this boot process every time I try to turn on my computer. So I go online, and eventually I find out the "Root Cause" of the problem is that Boot Critical File has been corrupted. (Namely, C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hpdskflt.sys is corrupt. This here is as far as my skills can go. I tried changing the driver, it had no effect. I'm stuck with this corrupt file, but hopefully not permanently. I think I read that it could be the registry, but I have literally almost zero idea what that means.

Can anyone help?

Intel HD3000 graphics driver on 2011 MacBook Pro 15

I am unable to install the Intel HD3000 driver on a 2011 Macbook Pro 15 running Win7 x64.  The CPU is an i7-2635QM.  I want to enable the Intel HD integrated graphics and disable the ATI 6490M discrete graphics in order to extend battery life.

If I run the automated setup (either from Apple Bootcamp drivers or Intel downloaded drivers), I get the following message:  "This computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements."

I I try a manual/legacy install, I get the choice of Intel HD Graphics Family, Intel HD Graphics, or Intel HD Graphics Family (three choices), when I point to the Graphics folder of the unzipped Intel drivers.  Installing any of them goes forward, but the htab of the Driver properties box shows a Code 31 (drivers failed to load).  Disabling the ATI adapter gives me a VGA 800x600 screen (the screen is 1440x900) with large black borders, so the machine is clearly not seeing the integrated graphics hardware despite installation of the graphics driver.

Since this is a Mac (EFI), I don't have the choice of enabling the integrated graphics in a BIOS boot screen.

Thanks very much

Dedicated Video RAM issue

Hello, i am currently having trouble playing games on my Desktop computer due to Dedicated Video RAM issues. The minimum requirements are 128mb and my system only indicates 64mb (Intel(R) HD Graphics (core i3); Windows 7 32). I have tried accessing the BIOS and changing the settings, as suggested online. However, the pre-set option for DVMT was already "Maximum DVMT". Out of curiosity I also tried the other two options, 128mb and 256mb, but under the three settings the Dedicated Video Memory remains as only 64mb. What does this mean and is there another way to change it? Much appreciated.

Intel HD Graphics Driver Update Problem

Hello everyone,

I tried to update my Intel HD Graphic driver to the 15.28.15.64.3062 version that came out 03/21/2013 and I'm pretty sure I don't have that version.

I downloaded the zip and the exe version but in both case it showed me the same error message:

"this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

I checked and I do have all the requirements that are written in the "Installation_Readme" file. I'm only not sure about the third condition which is:

"There should be sufficient hard disk space in the <TEMP> directory on the system in order to install this software" because I don't know where to find

that information but i think I have space because I have about 20 GB free on my C/ disk.

These are my computer information:

Computer : Toshiba Satellite L655 PSK1EE

Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU       M370   @2.40GHz

System type : 64-bit Operating System

Windows Edition : Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

If it's not enough just tell me what to add and how to find the information about it.

Windows 8.1 Drivers for Intel HD Graphics 4000

Hello,

I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 today and I'm running into some issues. When I run GTA 4 (haven't tested any other games to be frank) - which ran fine before the update - it crashes after a while with a BSOD. The error message being:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (igdkmd64.sys)

This query in Google has led me to the information that the HD Graphics driver is crashing. The next thing I did was install the latest HD Graphics drivers. This has not yet fixed the issue.

What I just noticed while writing this is that Hardware Info 64 does not recognize my Nvidia GPU. This could mean that GTA 4 is running on the HD Graphics GPU? So at this moment I'm reinstalling my Nvidia drivers.

So I reinstalled (clean install) the Nvidia drivers. I ran GTA4 which ran for a little while longer, but still throws a BSOD after a while.

In any case, this should ne be happening, right?

System:

Asus n56vz (notebook)

Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered

Hi. I know this question has been asked many times, but many are unanswered. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, Window 7 64 bit. Just yesterday, my laptop kept blacking out, freezes and then unfreeze and this message would pop up saying, "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows XP(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered." It keeps happening around every 15-30 minutes. Sometimes, it totally blacks out. Other times, it unfreeze but the windows are blank. Someone please help me. The display adapter I have is Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family." Some people said online to update it and that might fix the problem. I went to the Intel website and updated the lastest one given, but the problem is still here. I've restored my laptop to a certain restore point, but still did not solve the problem. Suggestions and ideas? Thank you a head of time.

Windows re-arrangement after TV input change

I am using one TV for two desktop computers, which I will call computer A and B. When I switch the input on the TV back to computer A, any windows along the bottom and the right side get moved up and to the left. This only happens initially. Any subsquint input changes on the TV back to computer A does not result in any window re-arrangement. The windows re-arrangement seems to keep a 16:9 aspect ratio. The resulting windows arrangement looks like a 1366x768 rectangle on the 1920x1080 desktop. When switching to computer B's input, the windows remain in their initial postions and never move. I can replicate the issue on computer A by physically disconnecting the HDMI connection at the TV and reconnecting. Also if I perform the HDMI disconnection on computer B, there is no windows re-arrangement. Lastly, I tested computer A with windows 7 and the results were the same.

Custom resolution not applying [4600, Win 8.1]

I've built a Windows 8.1 PC with Intel HD 4600 graphics (i7 4765t) (driver version  10.18.10.3379), connected to a Dell U2412M monitor by DisplayPort.

The monitor's native resolution is 1920x1200, but I do not get this as an option in Windows' display settings. I heard that I should add a custom resolution using Intel's CustomModeApp.exe tool. I tried to do this but it appears to not have any way to apply the new resolution.

The new resolution I create (1920x1200 60Hz GTF) appears in the list on the right of the panel, but I see no way to make this become an option to activate in Windows? Restarting Windows does not make it appear in the available resolutions either.

How do I activate a 'custom resolution'?

Thanks

Black Screen after driver update (Asus UX32VD-DB71)

Hi,

I replied to the official black screen thread, but it looks like that thread isn't going anywhere...

I am creating a new thread because this seems to be a recurring issue without an answer.

(see HD4000 driver causes LCD crash on Zenbook UX32VD - Help)

Looks like that question remained unanswered...

Problem:

After installing the intel driver(v 9.11.10.2828 from ASUS) [tried to updating to 10.18.10.3345 (package 15.33.8.64.3345) as well], the built-in screen turned off and wouldn't display an image (even at boot/post).

I've tried to create an EDID override in windows(ie. monitor driver), as well as trying to create a DDC connection to read (and update) the EDID. PowerStrip can't create a connection and read-edid tells me the EDID is probably wrong (and that something special has happened).

My laptop is no longer under warranty, so I'll have to pay ~$200 for a screen replacement. This is not an issue IF I can understand why this happened and how to prevent this in the future.

Right now it looks like the Intel update corrupted the LCD. and I would appreciate if anybody could suggest any ideas about how to fix this and why this happened in the first place.

Thanks

Having Trouble of installing the latest Intel graphics driver on laptop.

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble installing the latest Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics on my laptop. Every time i try to install, during the installation an error pops up. It says "The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit." What i'm trying to install is "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64 (exe)" version 15.22.58.64.2993 which is the latest version, but every time i try to install it i get the error. So then i try installing the previous version 15.22.57.64.2827, but i still get the error.

So far i've tried to solve this error by disabling signature verification on windows and also tried installing the driver in Windows Test Mode, i still get the error.

So does anyone know solution to this error?

Thank you,

Whoamomma.
