Driver that supports BFME ROTWK on Intel UHD Graphics 620

Hi,

I wish to play at my old game The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king on my Lenovo Yoga 920 that has the Intel UHD Graphics 620. Is there any old GPU driver version that would support it? I would be surprised, but couldn't be so sure without asking. Or else, could the next driver update support it?

Thank you

HD graphics 530 pixelation and screen teating within Windows 10 Home (April creators update) Ver. 1803

I had issues before the Windows 10 April creators update.  I had loaded the driver for HD Graphics 530 driver version 24.20.100.6025 with the Windows 10 Home (version 1709).   When the Windows 10 Home April creators update came out, I had to roll back to HD Graphics 530 driver version 15.65.5.4982.  This is because 24.20.100.6025 was causing my screen to freeze for 2-5 seconds.

Now, after the April creators update, several graphical screen have random pixilation (which sometimes goes away after a couple of seconds), but many Microsoft games and Google Earth have both pixilation and screen tearing. This image attached really (a screen capture) really does not show the tearing (just a little in the upper left-hand corner), but when playing a game it occurs all over the screen (like flashes of light streaks, they go on and off).  Even the pixilation will flash and move about.

Intel Graphics 530 drivers causing black screen w/o cursor upon boot

Hi everyone,

When i boot Windows 10 (version 1803), I am greeted with a black screen without cursor after the motherboard splash screen appears. This problem appeared a week ago (5/22/18).

I found that the problem was that Intel Graphics 530 drivers were causing the black screen, so I replaced them with the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter drivers. These work fine, but they offer horrible performance and I am not able to do anything that is graphics intense (gaming, etc).

Through the process of finding what caused the black screen, I reformatted by hard drive and reinstalled Windows cleanly using a USB stick. I have also scanned for viruses using a lot of different programs (Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Windows Defender, TDSKiller, etc), so the problem must be with the drivers.

I tried installing different versions of the driver, including ones all the way back in 2015, 2016, 2017 and the latest one 6094 released on 5/22. I have also tried installing drivers directly from my OEM manafacturer HP, but those didn't work (they were from 2015). I have tried to revert to Windows 10 version 1709 (the one before 1803), but all of the driver versions still do not work there. I tried everything, and I can't come up with any other solution. PC to TV over HDMI doesn't fit

Hello,

I'm having issues to make the desktop fit the TV screen over HDMI.

I've read several threads, but coudn't find a fix for it.

These are the details:

TV: Toshiba 32W3433DG

PC: Gigabyte Brix Bace 3150

Driver: v20.19.15.4963 (21/02/2018)

I tried uninstalling device/drivers and reinstalling.

If I center the image, then there is a black margin. Otherwise, if I select one of the other options, the desktop goes outside the TV screen.

Attached are some pictures.

Thanks in advance.

Poor Windows 10 UI and Chrome performance with Intel Graphics HD 530

I posted this in a thread reporting on the same issues, but was requested to post it as a new question instead.

Ever since I got my Dell XPS 15 9550 (almost 2 years ago), I have noticed Windows 10 animations lag (minimize/maximize animations, resize, task view, ...) and Google Chrome runs even slower, becoming unusable at times. As per the thread linked above, I was hopeful to read about the Falls Creator's update resolving this issue for some. Unfortunately, I notice no difference on my computer. I have had a motherboard replacement, a screen replacement, and a full laptop replacement by Dell, followed up most recently now with an audio card replacement. Nothing has changed.

Judging from the information you can find online and the feedback from Intel and Dell support, this seems either to be a rare problem or people generally don't care. For example, in none of the XPS 15 reviews this problem is mentioned, although I have seen it firsthand on 4 laptops of the same model (my original laptop, the one with the motherboard replaced, the full replacement, and a similar model from a friend). However, this is definitely not an isolated issue!

Some sources mentioning this issue:

- Dell XPS 15 9550 4k Intel 530 UI performance Windows 10 - Super User

- Intel HD Graphics 530 - Poor performance 4K

- Maximizing window animation of 4k windows has a severly reduced - Microsoft Community

- 4k laptop lag in Windows 10 UI animations

- I've posted this resize issue also on Microsoft Feedback Hub: https://aka.ms/Fjuwtk Probably most important observation here is: "It is only windows which near about 3/4th of the full 4k size (3840x2160) which stutter when maximizing."

- ... There might be more sources I can try to dig up based on my searches in the past, if this could be of any help.

What always has been reproducible for me so far:

- Resizing windows lags immensely, in particular in Chrome where black bands show up while resizing.

- Stutter when maximizing windows which are larger than a certain resolution.

- Bringing up the task view is slow, which is extremely noticeable when pressing it repeatedly, as in this video where I compare the Dell XPS 15 9550 to another computer.

- Some games (such as Teslagrad, possibly all games running on Unity?) run smooth in windowed mode (using the dedicated GPU), but when rendered full screen performance drops drastically. It seems as if there is a bottleneck in simply copying frames to 4k, similar to how 'big' windows lag and small windows run smoother on Windows.

I found the answer on the Super User post interesting:

I've since added a second ram module, to have the ram operate in dual channel mode now. The animations have improved on the 4k laptop monitor so much so that the choppiness is virtually gone!

He has since reported in the end the problems still occur, but perhaps Intel support can provide more insights into whether/how much of a difference this could make?

I currently have 1X16GB. Is there any chance buying another 16GB stick would make any difference? By now, is it known where the bottleneck is coming from? To me (judging on the maximize animation only stuttering above a certain resolution), it could be related to memory size where no big enough buffers are available (or allocated) in the operating system. Using hWinfo, I can tell the Intel HD 530 card currently is allocated 1GB of RAM, which unfortunately I can not change to be more from the Dell BIOS to try out this theory.

Above all, I am interested in hearing whether these issues can be replicated. Are they related to my specific hardware, and have I perhaps been unlucky with all the computers I have gotten so far? Or, am I doing things which most people don't or are not bothered by?

Cannot Update Intel Graphics Drivers?

$

First off, to hopefully excuse my lack of information, I'm a fifteen year old who knows little to nothing about computers. I just want my game to work.

Second, as a little background, I am only assuming a Graphics Driver is the issue I am having, and that's why I'm on here asking for help. I am currently running a Dell Windows computer, originally a Vista but it now has a Windows 7 hard drive. It runs both 64 and 32 bit.

I have a Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family, Chip Type being Intel(R) GMA 3100, under main driver it says "igdumd64,dlligdumdx32", the version being 8.15.10.1930, and the date 9/23/2009 1:22:58 PM. I have downloaded the Intel Support Updater thing (can't remember the exact name at the moment, it's the program they have you install to update drivers) and it told me I did not have any Intel programs. I moved on to try a similar program from Dell, the DellSupportAssistLauncher, and it told me I did not have a Dell system. This is the extent of my knowledge, and I hope I sound smart enough for someone to at least give me a chance and help me with this.

AccessViolation in ig9icd64.dll

On a Dell laptop with Intel HD Graphics 520 driver version 23.20.16.4973, my application crashes when I click in an OpenGL window, with an AccessViolationException in ig9icd64.dll.  I was able to work around the problem by turning off Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing for the application.  This is a pretty simple, static OpenGL window, and the problem just showed up after recently updating the driver.

How can we get a fix for this problem?

Graphics driver screw-up

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90p (model 3557-A1G) with Intel HD Graphics running W7 Professional 64.

The other day, Intel's Driver and Support Assistant utility suggested to update the driver. The installation process terminated because the "driver is not digitally signed". Ever since, my monitors are not recognized anymore, and I am left with no second monitor and only standard resolutions on the first. This is how Windows Device Manager sees my set-up:

Intel 620 driver 6025 won't install

When I run the intel support assistant, it tells me there is an update available. When I go through the process, it tells me my 620 is running an older driver version, I need to update, and directs me to download win64_24.20.100.6025. When I try to run this update, however, it tells me my operating system is not supported. I'm on a Lenovo 720 yoga with the 620 graphics chipset, win10x64 professional fully updated.

Any ideas?

Hello eveyone.

I have a annoying problem in latest version of intel HD 520 driver for WIN10 64 bit (OS has latest updates and many other devices).

My laptop is ASUS K501UX and when i Updated my driver to latest version [ 15.65.4.4944 ] The (fn Brightness Key) disabled suddenlybut other fn keys working correctly. before this update everything is OK and Brightness key worked correctly.

So, clearly results & logic shows that this problem is from latest version of intel driver that i mentioned above. not from my laptop, OS or other devices.

Please fix this problem that may annoying many people in the world that has same issue but dont talking about it at this forum.

thanks

Dear all

As you can see, I have a LENOVO 4236AK8 with an Intel® HD Graphics 3000. My question is: Is it possible to update or change my graphics to, at least, an Intel 4500?
Sorry for the probably stupid question, but my knowledge about these things is very low.

Thank you all in advance.

Creators Update Graphics Driver Issue: Core i3 M 370

H there, I understand this is a fairly common problem and I'm surprised there hasn't been a clear fix yet but I've tried updating my PC several times only to meet black screens and broken drivers every time and I inevitably roll back and have to fight with windows about pending updates until I relent again. I'm hoping I can just get this driver to work once and for all this time. I have an HP G62 with a Core i3 M 370 processor. My HD Graphics driver has no numeric identifier, its just "Intel HD Graphics". (I've even used the Intel Support Utility to identify a specific number and still came up blank. Here's what it gave me though: Display Adapter(s): Intel(R) HD Graphics 8.15.10.2900). My question is twofold: is there a driver that will work for my particular setup? and if there is how do I go about getting it and getting it running because I have yet to figure that out.

P.S. If there is no work around and I need to roll back can someone tell me how to permanently disable windows update so it doesn't try to install this dumb update again in the background.

Thanks in advance.

HD Graphics 4000 - 4K Support

I'd like to know if my current system is capable of supporting a 4K display (Acer - CB281HK 28" LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor is the consideration). OS is Windows 10, i7-3770S, 10.18.10.4358 (most recent available through Windows update). I've attached the Intel HD Graphics report for the current configuration. My targeted use is for Photoshop & Lightroom photo editing, video is not a serious consideration or requirement. I see the ability to add custom resolutions through the control panel, but want to make sure it's going to be possible to get it working before purchasing the display.

Win 10 Cherry Trail OpenGL fullscreen scaling problem

$

Hello everyone!

Recently I bought Windows 10 based TV Box. and some weird stuff appears - because of low overall performance I set lower screen resolution 1024x768. In a control panel I also set "constrain proportions" ans "override applications" settings.

Everything was fine until I didn't tried to run fullscreen OpenGL-based application - as result, there was a tiny 1024x768 picture with huge black borders outside. At that moment monitor reporting that resolution is 1920x1080, what shouldn't be.

After exiting this program monitor keep reporting 1920x1080 resolution, and system desktop looks similar now - tiny 1024x768 picture inside of big black background.

I figured that fullscreen DirectX-based apps works properly (as you can see at Before.jpg file), problem appears only with OpenGL ones.

Is there any workaround here? Fix maybe? For now drivers updated with "Intel Driver and Support Assistant" to the latest version.

Some technical info:

TV Box: Beelink Z83II

CPU: Intel x5-Z8350 Cherry Trail

GPU: Intel HD Graphics

OS: x64 Windows 10 Home 1709 (16299.64)

GPU Driver: Intel Windows * [15,40] 20.19.15.4963

Sorry if there was similar threads, but all I found at this forum is only info about DX apps, or advice to update driver (already done)

Thanks in advance!
