Multiple Displays issue with Intel Graphics HD 630

$

Hello,

I am having issues connecting my 3 displays with HD 630

Let me share with you my PC specs:

  • i7-8700 CPU
  • H370 HD3
  • 16 GB RAM
  • Intel UHD Graphics 630
  • 3 x Dell U2212HM displays (VGA, DVI-D, Display Port)
  • Windows 10 Pro

My problem is  I can't boot to windows while DVI-D is connected to my PC, in order to have the three screens up and running I have to do this exact sequence:

- Connect 2 screens one with VGA and one with HDMI

- One screen will only be working till I pass the login screen

- The second screen now works

- Remove the 2nd screen HDMI cable, insert the DVI-D cable then Insert back the HDMI cable.

This way I will have the 3 screens up and working.

This is the only sequence that works, If i did it with another sequence one of the screens will never work!

If I connected the DVI-D at the beginning, the PC will never boot

Reading H370 HD3 specs it clearly say that it supports 3 displays so I don't think its an issue.

This is my displays connection:

- VGA -> VGA (first)

- HDMI -> DVI-D (second)

- DVI-D -> DVI-D (third)

BIOS Settings:

- Initial display output: IGFX

- Internal Graphics: Enabled

What do I need to do in order to have the 3 screens working by default and boot to windows while connecting them?

Thanks.

Problem With Intel UHD 620 Driver...

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 530s Laptop. It purchased it in May 2018, and have been using it without any problems until today morning.

I have just moved to Japan from Korea (where I bought my laptop). It was working fine until yesterday night when I noticed that my screen would flash black - momentarily, but enough to stress my eyes out.

When I disabled Intel UHD Graphics 620 from Device Manager, the flickering stops. I did a clean install of Windows, but that still didn't fix the problem. I updated my drivers to the newest ones put out by Intel, but still no fix. I disabled Virtualization in BIOS. I have turned off Lenovo Powersaving. I ran Lenovo Diagnostic tools on it, but everything shows up to be fine.

I think the problem has to be with the Intel Graphics (hardware and/or software).

Please Help!!! Any help is appreciated!!

Lenovo L380 Yoga flickering with external monitor (Intel® HD Graphics 620)

Hello all,

This is my first time that I posting something so please let me know if you need further details or clarifications.

I have a Lenovo L380 Yoga and when i connect an external monitor I got flickering on the external monitor and some times on the laptop's monitor.

I am connected with HDMI cable and I tried using a BenQ monitor and HP monitor.

I have tried different types of HDMI cables.

I have downloaded and tested the below drivers:

laptops and netbooks :: thinkpad l series laptops :: thinkpad l380 yoga type 20m7 20m8 :: 20m7 :: 20m7001buk :: r90r2ju2…

laptops and netbooks :: thinkpad l series laptops :: thinkpad l380 yoga type 20m7 20m8 :: 20m7 :: 20m7001buk :: r90r2ju2…

Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 620

I have also tried through BIOS settings on the display section by changing the priority to HDMI port and also adjusting the memory from 256MB to 512MB

I have the latest firmware and BIOS updates from Lenovo website for L380 Yoga.

laptops and netbooks :: thinkpad l series laptops :: thinkpad l380 yoga type 20m7 20m8 :: 20m7 :: 20m7001buk :: r90r2ju2…

laptops and netbooks :: thinkpad l series laptops :: thinkpad l380 yoga type 20m7 20m8 :: 20m7 :: 20m7001buk :: r90r2ju2…

Finally I have tried all available refresh rates from Intel(R) UHD Graphics Control Panel 50 Hz, 59 Hz and 60 Hz.

I have concluded that I need a compatible Intel HD Graphics 620 drivers, either a new release or on old generic one.

I am not an expert so it may be something else.

Do you have any suggestions?

CustomModeApp not responding

Hello,

I have installed the latest Intel Graphics drivers. However in its new iteration the tab "Custom resolutions" that was quite crucial to my work environment has disappeared. From researching here a bit, I learnt that I could use the feature by executing CustomModeApp located in C:\Windows\System32

There I have found two .exe named "CustomModeApp" and "CustomModeApp V2.0"

However, it appears impossible to access them. Opening them does not start any program nor process anywhere.

What should I do?

I have Lenovo Ideapad-320. Everything was working fine until I Installed the Intel HD-620 Graphic driver. The screen is flickering brutally, Fps is dropped. The only solution I found is to disable the graphic driver from device manager. But by doing that i'm not able to even adjust my brightness or play any games. My system detailed report is attached, please help.

Intel Control Panel overrides Windows calibration settings

Hello,

I'm using a laptop with HD 520 and it is fine hooking up to 2 monitors at the same time (HDMI and DP). The problem is that I need gamma calibration, and I use Windows 10 calibration tool (mentioned here many times). It was said that the latest Intel Graphics Control Panel settings do not have gamma b/c we have this standard tool.

1) CRUCIAL: The problem is that whatever I set with Windows calibration tool (gamma!!!) is not saved and reset every time the laptop goes to standby or unplugged from the monitors.

2) Another question, I'm using 4 different external monitors (2 at work and 2 at home) and would like to save a separate calibration for each of them. How to save it and MAKE IT STAY?

Please help me to resolve this. Again, one monitor has no problem with brightness contrast but gamma is being reset every time to the levels that I'm unable to see the streets on google maps (light gray vs darker gray vs white).

Thanks!

Hello,

I have a user that is running on a new Dell optiPlex 5050, Win 10 (64bit), Intel HD 630 for about a month now she has been successful in viewing three monitors (2 via display port, 1 via HDMI). Suddenly the third monitor will no longer display, it is detected and backlight is visible, but no picture/desktop. I have tried updating the drivers for Intel, tried diff ports and cables with no luck. There have been no recent windows updates or changes to the machine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can't Update Intel DSA

$

Hello all,

I'll bet this is a common problem.  I'm trying to ensure my computer's graphics doo-dads, which are managed by an Intel Graphics Controller, are up to date.  I wanted to do that using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant.  I had previously downloaded the Intel DSA in 2017, but the program never ran correctly.  So far, all my attempts to update it, uninstall it, or beg for its cooperation have been fruitless.

My latest try at fixing this software problem was to download the most recent version of the DSA, version 3.4.1.  When I ran the install wizard, it gave me an error message saying... well here's an image showing the problem:

Intel DSA Install Error Message.jpg

I gather it's telling me that I need to locate this "IntelProduct...Installer.msi" file.  I have tried to do that with no success.  So now I'm at a loss as to what to do.  Help!

My computer is Dell XPS 13 9350 running Windows 10 64-bit.

Thanks,

I have had the run around at both Dell and the Intel sites trying to download an update to my Video Drivers. I am at a conference and need to run Sketchup v 18 witch uses Open GL 3.. i can't believe that a $3000 XPS Laptop that's not even 2 years old cant run openGL3.. Could you please give me some help so I don't have to go buy a brand new laptop. The last time I downloaded a Graphics Driver Update via Dell Support it failed on install. A link to a working driver would be very helpful.

Intel UHD Graphics 620 issue with YouTube 4K@60Hz

$

Hello,

I have issues viewing YouTube content in 2160p at 60 Hz. The video is stuttering and YouTube's "statistics for nerds" reveals that about one third of the frames are dropped. I have a steady internet connection of about 60 Kbps and the buffer health is around 10 s. Thus the problem seems not to be with my connection but rather with the playback of the content. The stuttering is worse when viewing in fullscreen but noticeable otherwise as well. When switching from 2160p to 1440p the stuttering is reduced but some frames are still dropped (in fullscreen).

I'm using a laptop with an Intel Core i5-8250U, Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8 GB 2400 Hz DDR4 RAM and an external (extended) monitor. The external monitor runs at 3840x2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate while the laptop monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080 and is also running at 60 Hz. I've tried connecting the monitor with an HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 with similar results. I'm using Windows 10 Education (10.0.17135) and graphics driver version 23.20.16.4973.

Best regards

Win 10, 64 bit. Intel Core i7-7600U, Intel 620HD graphics.

I have two 4K monitors. One of them displays 4K resolution and the other( Samsung U28D590D) does not display 4k.

I am using HDMI cables that came with the monitors. My laptop has display port. So I use display port to hdmi converter.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

HD Graphics 630 Screen Shutter Issue

Hello

I have a new Lenovo ThinkCenter M710q with an i5-7500T and HD Graphics 630.  It is plugged in with displayport to an LG 27UD58-B.  I have an issue where the entire screen will shutter every few minutes.  It's not consistently happening on the minute, but it does consistently happen.  I have seen better results with newer drivers but I can't seem to get it to go away.

So far I have tried the following.  None of which has seemed to help.

  1. Turned off display scaling
  2. Installed the following drivers
    1. 24.20.100.6025
    2. 24.20.100.6094
    3. 24.20.100.6136
    4. 24.20.100.6286 - this is where I am now

There are a number of options in the Graphics Conrol Panel that I can change.  Do you have any suggestions on what to try.

Thanks

-Adam

[W10 Fall Creators Update x64] Intel HD 4400 Latest Drivers Causing Screen Flickering in Videogames

$

Hello,

I initially voiced out this issue on a similar thread because me and the OP had the same integrated GPU, but I was advised by Intel themselves to start up a new thread.

Basically what happens is: on Windows 10 x64 Fall Creators Update (ver. 1709), with Intel HD 4400 and the latest drivers (15.40.36.4703), if I run any videogame without an FPS limiter/ingame VSync enabled, the screen will flicker wildly, and disappears if VSync is enabled app-wise (driver-wise hard VSync does not work). I believe this is a compatibility issue with the latest build of Windows 10, mainly because I had the same version on Creators Update and there were no problems.

I tried both with Game Mode and DVR off, but they do not fix the issue...

Attached are the requested diagnostics:

HD 4400 latest driver issue-Fall Creator's Update

Hello everyone

I have noticed that the latest Intel HD Graphics 4400 drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 Build 1709. In games such as GTA San Andreas, COD:MW and others, the screen starts flickering violently if the VSync is OFF or FPS Limiter is off. As soon as you enable FPS Limiter or Vsync, the flickering is gone. Also, when the game bar pops up, the flickering is gone. No flickering is noticed during recording with WIndows DVR. I hope that this problem will be resolved soon with an updated driver version from Intel. I've tried re-installing WIndows 10 Fall Creator's Update from scratch but the problem still persists.

Intel HD Graphics 4600 HELP

$

Hi Intel,

Greetings. Recently I acquired a new BenQ XL2411P monitor. It is connected to my laptop via HDMI (in and out) using Single Display. My laptop has integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 as well as NVIDIA GTX 960M.

The monitor is configured with the color temperature to be R-75, G-75, B-75 (max setting 100 for each). The Intel HD Graphics 4600 has the option to select either "Default RGB", "Limited RGB", or "Full RGB". Also, there is an option to enable or disable YCbCr.

My laptop detects the monitor as Digital TV.

My question is this.

1. How should I calibrate the integrated Intel HD graphics to work with my already calibrated monitor?

2. Should I enable YCbCr or should I choose "Full RGB" on the integrated HD graphics based on my monitor RGB setting which is R75, G75, B75?

3. I read somewhere that both RGB setting on monitor as well as on the integrated Intel HD graphics should be the same. Does my monitor RGB setting corresponds to "Full RGB? Since it is not calibrated to be 100 for all.

3. Can both YCbCr and Full RGB on the Intel graphics run at the same time? Is it recommended?

Which option is the best for gaming purposes as well as photo and video editing?

Thank you.

Alex
